I placed an online order for pickup and arrived 5 minutes after the estimated time for pickup, but had to still wait another 20 minutes to get my food. I could see my order slowly being put together. Painful to watch! By the time I got my order, the food was no longer warm. I should have just gone thru the drive-thru since that appeared to be only line moving.

Double-check your order! This location is notorious for forgetting items. They’re nice enough to offer to give you your item after you get home and return to the restaurant. At least make sure the number of items are reflected in the order as a start.

The worst customer service ever. I can’t believe they are still in business. You wait forever for someone to take your order. It happened to me more than once. I will never go back there ever again. Worst Pollo Loco I’ve EVER been too! First issue: I pulled up to the drive through and received no response. No worries, I waited, but after 5 minutes of nothing, I said “hello?” A guy on the speaker says “sorry, I’m the only one doing everything”….WHAT?? I should have left, but decided to give it a chance. After another 10 minutesof waiting, someone on the intercom finally takes half my order before cutting me off and asking me to pull up. Once I pulled up, the cashier apologized and asked me what side orders I wanted. I paid for my order and waited some more. The whole time, they were blasting rap music from the inside the dining area to the point you can barely hear them when they ask you questions. When I asked for a sauce, as he went to go retrieve it, he stopped to talk to his co worker about his schedule?? Really??? I’ve been in this drive through for at LEAST 30-40 minutes already. I was done with this place. AND TO TOP IT OFF. LOOK AT THE MAC AND CHEESE THEY GAVE ME. DISGUSTING!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Pieces of chicken getting smaller. In my four pieces (half chicken meal) the wing was little and almost burnt on the tip. Salsa started tasting spoiled. I love El Pollo Loco, but is not like used to be.

I would give a 0 if it was possible. I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal. While waiting, I observed all the employees. There were 7 in total. Jadyn (sp?) took my order. Then she went to fulfill orders only to stand there not knowing what to do. Karland (sp?) , a female, looked so unmotivated to work, was like lugging orders outside for pickup. Sometimes all 7 looked like they were clueless that no customers were there. After 30 minutes of waiting for my apparent “fast food” order, I decided to just get a refund. Anabel, the general manager, gave me a refund. Was not apologetic at all for the long wait. In fact, orders past my number was called prior to mine. How hard was it to fulfill a 2 piece chicken meal. El Pollo Loco, I will never visit one again. Clearly poor unfriendly service and poorly trained staff.

The food is delicious and on a healthier side of fast food. The last time we visited, the drive-through was closed. Being handicapped is why I prefer the drive thru. This time I had to go inside but the service reps were very nice.
