First time customer & it was horrible! Do not order from here. I’ve had pupusas from all over & this was bad. We ordered pupusas revueltas, de queso and loroco. They tasted old like if they just popped it in the microwave. There was no filling. As you pull apart the pupusa the cheese doesn’t even “stretch.” They should also put the different types of pupusas in different boxes. We had to pull apart pupusas to distinguish them. I usually can tell which ones are revueltas, for example, but since there was barely any filling, you can’t even tell. The nuegados were okay. Never coming here again. This is the restaurant in Glenmont.

I would give this place one star if I had the option. I never give reviews but these people have no Idea how to treat people. If you don’t speak Spanish be prepared to get the wrong food and terrible service. The cashier was on her cell phone as I made my order. She looked at me as if I was stupid so I grabbed a menu and showed her what I wanted. I’m almost positive it is wrong as my receipt is different compared to what I thought I had ordered. I was over looked for another Latin patron even though I was standing at the register. No one asked me if I needed help as this was my first visit here. All the wile getting the look as if I don’t belong in the presence of these people cause I wasn’t Latin. I try to give places a chance but worst place I’ve been in a long time. Save your time, money and sanity don’t bother with this place.

The food quality and freshness needs to change for the better! The staff service horrible.. this restaurant would be an icon for Salvadorian food but the staff managing this establishment are doing such a bad job doing so. This place used to be really good. My family and I used to go here all the tile for the pupusas locals . Tonight we ordered 5 pupusas locas a chicken soup and a grilled chicken breast on the side . We picked up the food, and we were so hungry that we eat it even though it was so bad. the chicken soup was all water and a couple of potatoe pieces and nothing else.Also, the side chicken was like chicken wings !!! Wrapped up in foil, hard stiff and the chicken looked like chicharron.The chicken was fried and not grilled as they’d said over the phone . We called the spot and they basically said they didn’t care if we were unhappy with the food because their restaurant is still popular so one unhappy customer won’t hurt them. Just sad . We won’t be coming here anymore .

Bad experience, DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The food wasn’t seasoned well, orchata was bad. Too pricey for the food. To top it off, the waitress forced an 18% tip on me, Forcing tips without the client consent is not professional, the service provided wasn’t that great at all! Again, NOT RECOMMEND!

I used to enjoy going here. . But i kept having bad experiences . From rude service, to mest up orders , that when i called they said. “Oh well, you’re already eating it. ” only because i told her i was already 15 or so minutes away. She could have offered a credit, or gift card something… returned my money. Nope nothing. Terrible. Inconsistent depending on who was cooking i noticed, different portions, and flavors sometimes.

The people who work here are very rude. One thing that really bothered me was that they added a Tip onto the bill. A Tip is what you feel that you should give because of the service you receive not pay because they say you have to pay the amount that they want. Also the music that they put was way too loud and its not family friendly. We could not hear each other at all, so disappointed with the service and I will never go there with my family again.

I would drive for three hours to get their fruit juices made from 100% natural pulp. I have never gotten a juice like theirs in the DMV. About the food, you should believe when they says “como echo en casa” fresh and tasty. I’m so happy that they opened a new location in Glenmont because I live close. There is a nice lady in the cashier named Sandra whom is very nice. Definitely I will come back to both locations specially at Glenmont.

Awful, saw waitress serving customers with latex gloves and then proceed to handle people food with same gloves that she had been handling money. Very poor food handling practices. Will never got back. Too focus on their personal interactions and needs then taking care of the customers.
