Ordered food here through delivery. I got the Pad Thai and Hot & Sour soup. My friend ordered Orange Chicken and Crab Rangoon. My Pad Thai tasted more like Bangkok noodles and was extremely oily. Probably the worst Pad Thai I have ever had, and I really am not picky about that stuff. My Hot & Sour soup was mediocre. They did not change the overall level of spiciness that I requested so that was a bummer. The Crab Rangoon was old and super oily as well. As for the Orange Chicken, that ended up being okay. Very disappointed with my meal. Will not be ordering from this place again.

As we entered the restaurant there was a dirty fish tank. Decided to give them a chance. Sat down and ordered our drinks. My diet coke was flat so was replaced. We placed our order and food came in reasonable time. Sweet and sour shrimp is what I ordered and it came on a plate with no sauce except for some in a small bowl. Not what I was expecting at all. Over all I would say good was ok not great. My husbands meal was as he expected and he felt it was good. Maybe was just a bad day. Any way NOT the best chinese food in Kalamazoo that is for sure.

Pretty shady and they like to steal from you!!! 2 meals 2 egg rolls and two drinks come to 32$ never before have we ever ordered the same we did today and had it ever come to this amount before and claims they have no lunch specials when we were there well before before 230, just because they were dead and had no business today when we walked in they seemed fit to take advantage of us and they don’t seem to know any better to write the bill in English besides the amount due on purpose and if that is the case, then maybe we as customers should boycott this place and there dirty fish tank who knows what there kitchen looks like! We will no longer be stepping foot in this place to be taken advantage of again!!!!

I have never eaten here, but I called to ask to speak with a manager about my food allergies. I absolutely cannot eat at a restaurant without first verifying I will be okay. It’s usually a simple 1-2 min conversation with a clear yes or no of whether it’s safe for me to eat there. I called and asked for a manager (in a very friendly voice) and was told “Manager no here!”, then she just hung up on me as I was responding. So, I called back and asked when the manager would be in and was told “I don’t know! Okay!??” And again was hung up on. We were really looking forward to trying something new, but with that poor of customer service, this place will NOT be getting my business. I wish I could give zero stars. I would first speak with a manager before writing a review, but apparently that’s not an option…

I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about. I’m a Taiwanese American and Authentic Chinese food is my forte. Oriental Cuisine has the best of everything, including Singapore Mai Fan and Szechuan Duck. Unlike the other American Chinese food, they strive “made to order”, instead of having food just sit there like buffets. I have been going there to get my Chinese food fixes for about 5 years.

Ordered the sesame chicken and crab rangoon for delivery at 4:11 PM, it arrived at 4:31. I woke up with food poisoning that night and I’m currently still laying in bed sick. Food didn’t taste fresh, I’m assuming it had been sitting out for quite some time. Don’t even bother with this place.

Hands down, the best Hot & Sour soup I’ve had anywhere (including Cinatown NY/LA/SF/Chicago)! Decor is minimalist, but the cooking can be outstanding. Not all dishes are top notch, but most are very good. Very fresh veggies, all entrees made to order, good prices, family-run. Mu-shu pork is great, as is the Mongolian Beef. Skip the egg rolls (a bit greasy) and any dish with fake crab (unless you like that stuff!). Seriously…try the soup! That alone is worth the trip!

Unfortunately customer service is not a priority. I simply asked for extra hot oil ( hot sauce) over the phone, and made it clear that I would have no problem paying for it. Upon arriving and checking our order I noticed two small containers of hot oil, we had ordered 4- menu items, I asked for more and again let them know I expected to be charged for it, no matter the cost, she got very unpleasant but provided us with two more containers, we’ve ordered the same items in the past and We will use 5-6 hot oils. I asked for 1 more and was told NO, I then told her I’d give her $5 for it, her response was No, that’s all you get. Unfortunately I had already paid and she just walked away. My wife and I don’t often get an opportunity to get Chinese food and we found it discouraging they wouldn’t provide us with the condiments we desired. I’m not a confrontational person, although this bad experience definitely got under my skin. Maybe times are changing, making it acceptable to treat customers this way.

Good food. Fast delivery. Very polite and courteous. A little expensive but not many options for Chinese food delivery on this side of town. Would order again in the future. Great portion sizes and very delicious.
