I don’t know if this is a franchise store or if this location is ran by the Popeyes corporation themselves but this is absolutely the worst Popeyes I have ever been to. They didn’t have the ghost pepper wings they said that they were still frozen and needed to thaw them and marinate them and they wouldn’t be ready until Saturday today is Thursday. you would think that the store would have tons of this new hot item readily available for customers to purchase. Well that is not the case. Anyway, I ended up ordering the chicken nuggets which must have been sitting up in their warming window for probably the last two hours and there fairly warm Cajun fries. Someone really needs to inspect this location it’s always a hot mess and the food is always terrible.

I rarely eat fast food- maybe 10 times a year- but did the drive-thru here twice this holiday weekend for late lunch. The spicy chicken sandwich was super tender, crunchy, hot and loaded up with pickles as I requested. It’s by far, the best fast food I’ve ever had (sorry, Taco Bell). The bad news is I have a new food obsession that maybe isn’t the healthiest, but hey, moderation… The same young manager served me both times with a positive attitude despite being short-staffed. Give the man a raise!

I travel a lot, so I eat a lot of food away from home. Home is Texas. This is the best Popeyes I’ve ever been to because it’s just like the Rusty Rooster back at home. The chickens always good, and the service is too. But the cashier and the cook had very good communication while they were really busy. And I had 500 miles to my next stop and 3 relatives that moved away from home to see while in Colorado. But we ordered, and ate in 15 minutes and back on our way.

Don’t eat here. In the past they were 50/50 on whether you would get a good meal or not. Now you can’t risk it. Seems all the more adult people no longer work there and they only have teenagers that literally do not care about their jobs. For the meal in the picture.. they could/would not provide a receipt. They were out of mashed potatoes and coleslaw, they didn’t include the biscuits with our meal (shoulda checked before we left.. for everything) the red beans and rice they provided were dry and mashed. Check out the pic.. the chicken is old and had been run through the fryer again, as you may expect it was inedible. We ordered spicy chicken and got non spicy.. also as you can see in the pic, we got one or two pieces that were properly cooked. Important to note, it was 5 PM.. not last minute as they’re closing. Very unfortunate as we normally enjoy Popeyes

I’m torn here, there food was actually better than some other popeyes I’ve been to, not that I haven’t liked them all. Their cole slaw is ok at other store but was great at this one. However we pulled in at 12:03 with 3 cars in front and pulled out at 1:05, so it tool over an hour to serve 4 cars during lunch. Most popeyes are slow, but this was excepcional.

Food was alright, seemed like there was only one guy working in there so I feel bad for him. What was the biggest issue is when I put a mobile order in 30 min before going here it still took 20 min to get it ready when I got there. Also he just kinda scooped the fries out of the fryer and dumped them into the main bag which caused it to get super greasy

This place has always been good however I just recently went and what a horrible experience! First we pull up and nobody is even inside ready to take the order she was instead outside smoking.. then she finally saw us and went in to take our order and somehow they had no soda and no mac and cheese.. my chicken sandwhich was awful and tasted like it had sat for at least a few hours ! Everyone working just seems miserable and like they want nothing to do it with anything and instead take that out on the customers coming through!

The old manager Raoul was great, but when he left, things started going downhill.

We’ve had good experiences here before but today was LAME. Ordered a large Red beans and rice, the container was half empty, it was mostly all rice and some dried up beans at the very bottom. Not fresh. And a waste of money if they can’t even fill the container. My husbands side was also half full and old tasting. Super disappointing this is my dinner

First of all. I LOVE Popeyes chicken. I eat there OFTEN. Today I went to Baptist Rd location in Monument. The chicken I received was flat, dry and tasted old. Very disappointing. Not to mention the employees all seem to hate their jobs and are not nice. The lady who helped me today literally rolled her eyes when a patron in the restaurant asked for something. Not sure if the employees are happy with their life choices or if it is because of management. This is NOT the only location where employees do not look happy and are not very pleasant. The only positive thing I have to say is Kevin at the Austin Bluffs & Academy location is ALWAYS very friendly and pleasant.
