Best in Reno is what the community says year after year, and for good reason. After doing business with them for 30+ years I never even consider any other pizza. Everyone knows this. What you may not know is how professionally they handle deliveries Semenza’s would NEVER trust any ‘delivery service’ with their valuable customer. No 3rd party trying to hustle you for a bigger tip. No 3rd party messing up an order or delivering it cold and then blaming the restaurant. Someone from their staff delivers it themselves. From their hands to yours period. Next time you’re in the mood to have Reno’s finest Pizza or Wings brought right to your door give Semenza’s a call. You can thank me later. Oh, and slip the driver a few bucks tip…they’ve truly earned it.

This is a diamond in the rough. I ordered the Teddy – an extra large combination pizza and a small pepperoni pizza (only 2 dollars extra). The pizzeria had a really good vibe inside and the pizza smelled great! Most importantly, it tasted really good. The ingredients were fresh and of good quality. I felt as though it needed more sauce, and perhaps a little flavor upgrade to the sauce. Bottom line – this is a pizza that is a must visit in the Biggest Little City.

Their prices are unreasonably high except for the Bob special. Forget the wings. They’re far too expensive considering what you get. While everything’s tasty, it’s not worth $75 to feed four people. They put fewer and fewer toppings on their pizza. Good luck getting more than 15 slices of pepperoni on an extra large. Hamburger and sausage toppings are almost non existent on their pieces. I deducted a star because THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. I know the store is open. Most of the time it will ring and ring and then go to a mailbox that’s always full. I’ve eaten on and off at Semenza’s for 30 years. I take no joy in writing this review. I’ll revisit them in a few months and update my review if things change for the better. They can do better and should or this Reno institution will have to shut its doors. Good luck.

Showed up and wasn’t sure what to expect. Got to the counter in an empty dining room, and was told they were “out of pizza”. Said thank you and left. As i was getting back in my car, an employee rushed out to let me know they were finishing making fresh dough and that i could make an order. Ordered a pepperoni and bacon with a side of wings and fries. The wait was short and enjoyable as they had the game on. Pizza was hot and fresh and super good. Crust was perfect, cheese was melty and all around delicious. When i looked up from my food, i didn’t realize, but the dining room quickly filled with a late lunch rush and they were bustling. Will definitely come again.

wings are hella bomb i dont like that for the worker with glasses to be coughing while serving my food ordered 4lb of wings came with one big cup of 8 ounces of ranch i felt they were missing more sauce on the wings for the price of what i paid disappointing

I remember going here when my dad owned CJ’s heating and refrigeration . That was like 30 years ago .. love this place, they had delicious food back then and delicious food now .. don’t pass this little hidin gem we are so glad to have here..

I love this place so much and visit every time I’m in Reno. Wanted to eat there one more time on a Monday before we left to go back home, out of town. Online said they open at 12, door said 11. We know there were at least 2 workers inside but we left after nobody opened the door by 12:20 and nobody answered the phone. Bummed me out. I’ll still try again next time I’m in town.

I ordered a large pizza, called to say it was cold and the delivery person said I it is cold sometimes. I literally love less than ten minutes away. I called again today with the whole pizza and the owner said I was high. Mind you I tipped the lady who delivered.
