We had the buffet lunch primarily fried chicken & a variety of vegetables and breads. Fried chicken was extremely good and freshly cooked. The sides were not as delicious and the “hot bar” didn’t keep the sides hot. We didn’t realize there was a menu for orders other than the buffet. Table next to us ordered from the menu and their dishes looked fantastic. All the servers and staff were very friendly with great southern personality. Honestly a bit pricey for the buffet.

Pretty standard country buffet. I thought the fried chicken was over cooked and had more batter than chicken. But all in all everything tasted fine. Nothing to report that would make them stand out above the others in the area.

Didn’t feel very welcoming, maybe they knew I was not from around the area. For southern food it wasn’t very good. I even had to ask the cook if the mashed potatoes were instant because they sure tasted like it. You would think that being a southern Cooking restaurant they would have some Southern Staples.

Such a great surprise! A local family style restaurant that we found while visiting in Georgia that offered typical southern style/grilled foods at a more than reasonable price. I believe the waitress that assisted us was named Debbie (but I can’t be sure) and she was a sheer delight! So pleasant, helpful, and quick on her feet to ensure that we were more than satisfied customers. And to the cooks: thank you for my tasty grilled cheese and sweet potato fries and the delicious patty melt (as I had to steal a bite) that my husband ordered.

Save your money. When we went bar was dried out and almost empty. Ham tasted rotten. A couple of us ordered from the menu and they acted like it was a problem. I heard several employees discussing that why we ordered from the menu when the bar was right there. The salad and dressing my daughter ordered was scooped straight off the bar we declined to eat from.
