The food was amazing!!!! The Greens were fresh and the fried pork chop is seasoned and fried to perfection. The Mac n cheese was on point. The Sweet potato pie was an extra bonus. I Started eating my food in the car. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent food and service with a smile. Mama Bert was a great hostess and it felt like I was a guest eating at her dinner table. I highly recommend the fried chicken, collard greens, and Mac n cheese. If you are looking for a great meal this is the place.

I waited 30 minutes for 1 plate of food. $20 for 10 wings, rice and mac n cheese, NO DRINK. Everything was bland. Service was good. Everything else terrible quality.

My little girl who is in the 7th grade wanted something to eat, so I gave her $20 and told her to keep the change so she have a snack for after cheerleader practice (she go to Josey). She went in ordered and came back to the car and said she needed 3 more dollars!? Yep, her meal came up to 22.65! I couldn’t wait to see the plate. Turkey, Mac & cheese & cabbage and a roll. I kid you not. Nothing special, nothing spectacular…and later I asked her “how was it?” and she said “Meh”. To me I heard…not worth 22 bucks!

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, the food was really underwhelming. Everything tasted plain, $43 for two meals and no drinks is entirely too much for the food to not be good. Nice, clean environment and friendly staff tho.

Husband and I had lunch and food (smoked Turkey leg was super tender, fried chicken was exceptionally favored, max and cheese was phenomenal, fresh greens was tenderly favored and cabbage was absolutely scrumptious) superbly delicious!!! This place is a must eat if you like or love real food with soul!!!
