The breakfast that we had in the morning was very good. Kate did an amazing job that morning. She was the only one there and took orders and cooked until someone showed up just before we left. She told us if we need anything to help ourselves. She is a great down to earth person. If you are in the area, I would definitely stop by.

Kate’s is amazing! She makes the most delicious English muffins and raspberry jam. Homemade English muffins!!! Wow. Everything is perfect and the price is so reasonable. Don’t miss the best food in Riggins.

Kate is a wonderful lady. I am sure she has her issues but we had an outstanding experience. I was highly impressed with her ability to wait take and cook and cashier all at the same time. The burger was awesome . Please eat there when you go through Riggins idaho. You won’t be disappointed.

We got there after breakfast but Kate was kind enough to make breakfast for us and then we got a order to go for later, and then Kate came out and chatted with us it was our first time small little cafe almost everything homemade will visit again.

Our waitress was horrible after our initial drink and food order she failed to check in at all. My wife had a coffee that was never refilled while I watched the waitress refill a locals coffee four times while checking on all the locals ignoring my wife and I completely. The food was alright at best for a western omelet Dennys does it better so disappointing for a non chain to be so run of the mill, while the chicken fried steak and eggs my wife ordered was ruined by the gravy the cook so proudly informed guests she got up at 0100 hours to make it hinted of corn beef hash and left behind a taste even after being scraped off the food. If that wasn’t enough the waitress literally threw our check on the table when we requested it and then threw the receipt at my wife. We will not be revisiting this first experience was more than enough if your not from Riggins Idaho your not worth much from our treatment and being from Payette we visit the area frequently and prefer smaller diners and cafes supporting local business people on our adventures. Definitely not the idea we had for our 23rd anniversary Breakfast. Rude waitress and so so food. 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Extremely quiet environment- quite possibly the quietest place I’ve ever eaten lunch even though there was close to a dozen people in the small restaurant. The produce seemed fresh, but the crunch of the Cucumber was deafening relative for the deathly silent environment in which time seemed to stand still despite the fact we were only in there for about 20 minutes.
