I came here for the viral lobster ramen. We got that, and also the chicken karaage and foie gras sushi taco. The sushi was meh, not much flavor and not worth it. The chicken was ok. The lobster ramen’s presentation was wow! So pretty. And the ramen itself tasted good, although I would prefer to get my tail whole and not tempura but ok. until I got to the claws and first I just ate the first claw whole and thought it tasted weird and with the weird texture. Then I opened the second one and realized it was because it wasn’t cooked through!!! You can see on the picture I politely informed the waitress to which she asked me “what, you want another one??” Since I already ate half of the ramen I declined and in the end all they did was to give me 20% off the ramen itself I thought it was funny but my stomach later didn’t. When I was having the ramen broth I was thinking I would come back for other ramens, but now hell no – the way they handled this they won’t get more business from me.

I wanted to try this place after they had a stand at the Harvard Square Chili Cook-Off — they had the longest line of people waiting to try samples of their ramen. And it was delicious! Definitely my favorite “chili” of the event. I was eager to see what else they had to offer.

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of the Chinatown location. So we came to Harvard Square to try their new location. Great vibes, excellent food as always. The Lobster Truffle Ramen is absolutely amazing. 10/10 make the trip here!

Hot take but the Waku in Harvard Square is my favourite of all the locations, you can’t beat the vibes, number of options on the menu, and *very* affordable drinks. Food is super yummy and service has always been really good. The sushi tacos are the best and the lobster ramen is such a steal, you get so much lobster for the price and the broth is sublime; the mushroom ramen is still my favourite though. Best ramen in Harvard Square for sure, even better than Santouka 🙂

I got the curry ramen with tonkatsu. Nothing really stood out other than the how flat and small the tonkatsu was. The broth had no depth of favor. Atmosphere was okay. Kind of cyberpunk modern. I do not think it was worth the trip and dining in. There are better ramen options nearby.

The restaurant is on the smaller size. They manage to fit a lot of tables into a small space. The restaurant is dimly lit with many colored lights. It was difficult to see. The place does not take reservations, but this was not a problem on a week night.
