Food was very good except for the water! *Orange Park y’all need to do something about your nasty water, a whole bowl of lemons couldn’t mask that awful taste! Cracker Barrel y’all need to invest in a filter for your water and your ice dispenser.* Service was okay, not horrible but not that good, shouldn’t have to ask 3 times for something then have you come back and tell me you didn’t forget when you either clearly forgot or just didn’t give a darn.

As they say: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Cracker Barrel hasn’t changed a bit since I was young. Thank goodness!! I could spend hours here, sharing time and a meal with my family is always a little more fun. There is so much to peruse from decor and (cute!!) clothes, to toys and games from all eras. If only I had disposable income to play with!!

The kitchen service and wait staff service have declined in Orange Park. This is what we received for an order of Meatloaf + 2 sides (hashbrown casserole and beans), 2 pancakes, Country fried chicken, loaded sweet potato, biscuits and tea. Missing meal, missing pancake, missing biscuits, very unappetizing and poor food arrangement and no straws or napkins. We waited at our seat for over 45 minutes for this. With Thanksgiving coming up in a few days, I hope for everyone’s sake that this establishment gets their program together.

The food was warm at best and then we got plastic utensils and couldn’t find our waitress half the time. Then I heard some of the employees cussing when I walked up to get my own ketchup cause again we couldn’t find our waitress. Then my wife had to hunt down the waitress so we could get our check to leave after being done for 15 minutes. All in all I will never come back to this restaurant again. I will make an extra 20 minute drive to the one off highway 10.

Traveling, I spent the night in the parking lot. Felt completely safe. The night before was greeted by manager. Bill, who took my to-go order. He was amazing! When it was time to pay. Carrie was friendly and courteous. Next morning Carrie was there again! Smile on her face and again, very friendly. The morning crew was awesome as well. This CB rocks! I’ll definitely keep it in mind my travels take me this way again.
