I’m giving this restaurant a 5 out of 5. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience for our 2 year anniversary. It’s a chill atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and don’t mind holding a conversation. The owner even came out to introduce himself. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a cute date with your partner. The menu is small but tasty and the drinks are strong.

I’m in Athens for a work conference, and a few of my coworkers wanted dinner. We came here, and it was the best decision. The waitress, Jazz, was super sweet and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the special (shrimp and gnocchi with pesto sauce). I was so happy the shrimp came peeled and with the tails already off. The service was amazing, and the owner even came and chatted with us. He was very personable, and we could tell he was passionate about his business and giving back. Next time I’m in Athens, I will definitely be coming back again.

We were looking for Italian food in a unique setting in our area. This restaurant has an excellent menu and fantastic service. The food is outstanding. We enjoyed talking with the owner, as he circulates amongst guests frequently. The upstairs location offers a view of East Broad and North Campus. Beautiful! We will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The number one place in Athens to unimpress your date! Osteria is just way too expensive for what they’re offering. They have good drinks and great service but you’re not going to be blown away by the food and you’re going to pay 20 dollars MININUM to not be blown away by the food. It’s also way too dark in the restaurant, if they didn’t light those candles at each table you’d be dining in complete darkness.

Drew and his staff never disappoints! Phil and I went there last night and the lasagna was amazing! The wine was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive! A hidden little gem downtown Athens! It’s absolutely one of our favorite places!

Great service by Rachel and a very cool location. Drew, the owner, stopped by the bar to chat. Very interesting guy. Food was excellent and came quickly, but my first (mushroom pasta with wonderful house-made noodles) and second (chicken marsala served with vegetables and delicious mashed potatoes) courses came out at the same time. Probably just down to a simple communication. Tiramisu was excellent. They have grappa!

My boyfriend and I went here and it was a graduation weekend. I got the Spritz Venezio and the lasagna. My drink was alright, and the lasagna was awesome. My boyfriend got the Osteria Athena cocktail and their version of spaghetti and meatballs. His cocktail was delicious but his linguine and meatballs was not good. It had hardly any flavor at all, which I was shocked by cause my lasagna was so good. Food came out super quick.

The crab cake special for appetizer was quite nice, but not fantastic. The mahi-mahi special entree was meh. Ordered a glass of wine and a cocktail. The cocktail tasted like it was pre-mixed and was off balance. The wine was also just ok. The entire list of wines available by the glass rate about 3.5 to 3.8 out of 5 on Vivino, which gives you a sense of their quality — ok, but not great. My own opinion of the glass of wine I had matched that — I’d finish it this time but would not order it again.
