Leslie is amazing!! My family and I were coming from out of town (Vegas) and we will definitely be back. The food..5/5 The service… 6/5! The vibes??? immaculate. We got the jerk bowl with chicken, the chicken quesadilla, and the tilapia salad! Then Leslie brought out the chicken tips for us to try and that sealed the deal. I can’t wait to come back. This place is amazing! The staff were beyond friendly. The fusion Jamaican food was great — I had never tried jerk beef on Doritos or Jamaican loaded fries, but both were delicious. I also loved the cabbage side. My kids didn’t want to eat here at first but were won over by the kindness of the staff and ended up liking the food too!

Five stars because there’s not many places around that serve this kind of food. The place is small and a little hot, so carry out or taking outside to eat would be my preference. The wait was a little long, but they were training a new guy. Both guys working that day were friendly while trying to push out the orders. I had a jerk chicken melt and a jerk chicken burrito. Both were good. The melt was grilled with shredded jerk chicken meat and cheese. They give you a side of what is like a jerk bbq or something, and a side of jerk sauce. It goes great on the sandwich. The burrito was grilled too, and dusted with seasoning. It had jerk chicken, corn, onion, fresh cilantro, sour cream and cheese. Really good flavor. If I had to imagine what a really good diner in Jamaica tasted like, this would be it.

Just starting to get around Springfield. This place is wonderful. They have a unique menu and the food is so flavorful. They are very friendly and personable and share details of what you’re ordering. I ordered the jerk beef nachos and jerk chicken tip platter with cabbage (savory with a hint of sweet) and red beans and rice (who red beans not a mash).

My family and I were looking for an ethnic restaurant to eat in Springfield IL. Our Google search came up with Jerk Shop Go. We had dinner there and were blown away. The food is amazingly DELICIOUS !!! My wife, who has visited Jamaica several times, said this is the most authentic Jamaican restaurant outside Jamaica she has been to. The staff was super friendly and so helpful to help us pick our dinner items. We had the jerk philly sandwich, jerk fries, jerk egg roll, rice and beans and jerk taco. All the food was soooo FANTASTIC!!!! The jerk sauce was soooo Good. There was terrific reggae music playing in the restaurant. There is a wonderful vibe to the place. I had the chance to talk to the owner. What a terrific business man and incredible story. My family and I would definitely come back and recommend Jerk Shop Go to everyone!!!! This place is hands down AMAZING and such a GEM!!! Make sure to eat at Jerk Shop Go. You and your taste buds will NOT be disappointed.

What a great restaurant. Very clean, nice atmosphere, USB charging spots along the wall, and the staff is totally awesome! The food is really tasty and a good portion for the price. I’m really glad I stopped in here and I look forward to stopping again the next time in town.

Been here many times and recently got the deep fried jerk burrito, I think it was a newer thing and it was absolutely amazing. I usually go for the platter but decided for the burrito and it was worth it. It’s an absolutely amazing restaurant and I’ve never had a bad experience.
