Nice small family restaurant. We ordered jerk chicken, stewed chicken, oxtails, beef patty, and plantains. Everything was excellent! The chicken was falling off the bones like melted butter. The jerk chicken comes with a sauce on it but you can ask for it without it. The portions were large and we had plenty for leftovers. The cashier was helpful in offering suggestions, and the chef is very hospitable. The restaurant seating area is clean, and the bathrooms too. The only thing that I would change is not serving food on styrofoam plates and also getting bigger plates.

Food was AMAZING. Service was PHENOMENAL. Will return here over and over again. I had the brown stew chicken with plantains, cabbage, and rice & beans. The portions are sooo large so I’ll definitely be having second dinner later!! My husband had the jerk chicken and he was in heaven. The man who helped us checked on us frequently, brought more drinks, and when we asked for to-go containers, he also brought us beverages to go. Please eat here and tell all your friends. I haven’t had Jamaican food this good in so long and I’m so glad Mama Mill’s is here. I even found bun and cheese!! In south Texas!!!! Thank y’all!!!

I traveled approximately 1 hour to try Mama Mill’s for the 1st time and I must say it was WELL WORTH the drive. I ordered the oxtail, cabbage, and beef patty. Not only am I OVERLY satisfied with the meal, the hospitality was absolutely top tier! I had the pleasure of meeting the Owner and the Chef who both were extremely lovely Men. Sandy was by far my favorite part of the experience.

The curry chicken, jerk chicken, and oxtail were phenomenal. Didn’t get to try the stew chicken, but based on my dinning experience with the other dishes, it probably is delicious as well. Will be frequenting Mama Mills regularly.

I had a great experience until I brought the food home. It was very salty, taste like charcoal briquettes & lighter fluid. There was no sauce on the jerk chicken and the cabbage was old and had smell to it. It also looked like it had been sitting in milk. I called and offered to bring the food back because i requested a refund. The manager stated he couldn’t give me a refund but he could give me a coupon for my next order. I will not be returning to this location. It was so salty, my toddlers requested to brush their teeth to get the “nasty” off. As a business owner myself, I am very disappointed in the way things were handled. If I could give 0 stars I would! If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food, go elsewhere!

I rarely write reviews. I ate here for the first time last week. I ordered the Bison Burger, and it was so good! The Executive Chef who came out and introduced himself, and the staff, were very friendly and helpful. LARGE portions, great people, great food. Definitely recommend Mama Mill’s!

Food was great & flavorful. I ENJOYED the hot & tasty meal in a clean & inviting atmosphere. Great friendly service. Both Hostess & Head Chef approached our table to ensure we were satisfied with our selection. Curry dish is 1 of the BEST I’ve tasted. The rice & peas was equally delicious I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

This was my first time having Jamaican food and it was absolutely AMAZING! not only was the service amazing by all staff. The chef himself came out to greet our table which topped off our experience. Extremely sweet and hard working staff. I didnt know what to order as im a picky eater Sharon helped me go down the menu and explained what their dishes were. The Curry chicken was absolutely a perfect fit for me. Kids enjoyed it also! Definitely coming again!

My group of three tried the Jerk Chicken Combo, Brown Stew Chicken, Oxtail Combo & some Beef Patties. New chef on site for a couple of weeks. Very tasty and fresh food!!! Portion sizes are commensurate to the price. Got stuffed and was able to take leftovers home to enjoy later. Definitely recommend and we will return.
