Wishbone Fried Chicken is a Newnan, Ga. institution, and rightfully so. Serving up delicious chicken and fish, fresh and hot. Located now in it’s new digs just a few doors down from it’s original location makes finding it a no-brainer. The famous ” wishbone” sign is still standing to guide hungry patrons to their destination. Service was fast and friendly as I actually engaged with the owner. In-store dining is available with ample space , fairly larger than the old one. I know there’s a lot of chicken to be had out there, but when you’re craving for some no-frills or gimmicks goodness head on down.

I saw alot of people pulling up going in and out for this, so I just had to check it out. The prices look very nice, and is represented by the portion sizes, very small wings lightly seasoned! Must be a downtown favorite.

I love Wishbone chicken. It is good every time I get it. I gave it 4-stars because of the fish dinner. It appeared to be the type of fish that comes in a frozen dinner. It did not taste bad but was nothing to make you want to try it again.

I honestly don’t know what’s changed but this was my go to chicken in Newnan for many years but today was terrible. Me & 7 other customers waited on our orders for 45 minutes, then I was totally disappointed. The chicken wasn’t even fresh and it was lunch time. Even the sweet tea wasn’t as good. Definitely won’t be going out of my way to eat there anymore!
