I have to tell anyone who comes here is in for a treat. We had the best wait staff, my favorite was Lauren she had a great sense of humor and she was so sweet, make sure you get the tacos they were wonderful. I also on a second trip had a burger all the apps are delicious. 100% would recommend! We sat on the patio and it was perfect.

We arrived just before 6 got sat and got our sodas right away. There was 3 of us. 2 adults and 1 child. My child ordered a bowl of soup and wife ordered steak bites. I ordered a burger with truffle fries. I asked for mayo with my fries. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. Table to the side of us came in ordered 2 burgers are and left before we got our food. Finally our food arrived and I had no mayo. So I asked someone walking by the table if I could get some mayo, she said no problem. So I ate my burger and still waited for my mayo. So I finally grabbed another server and asked if I could get some mayo. Finally got some mayo and got to eat my cold fries. We never got a refill on our soda or was even asked if we needed one. So we had to use the ice for beverage. Finally getting our bill we got out of there after an hour and half for a quick bite to eat for the evening. Bar and tables were not full and the bell in the kitchen kept ringing every 30 seconds. Was not sure why we were odd table out. Won’t return!

If you’re trying to decide where to go eat in Crosby don’t go here. We showed up at 7pm and sat at a table for over 20 minutes before I decided to get up and ask a server to come to our table. Once she finally came over, we were informed they were already out of the Monday night burger special (it’s supposed to be available until 9). We order and wait an hour and still no food. At this time we noticed a group of 4 that came in about 25 minutes after us got their food so we paid for our drinks and left. An hour and a half without food was too much for us and our 9 month old baby.

Better food than a fancy suit and tie restaurant!! Parmesan crusted chicken, steamed broccoli, and garlic mashed potatoes that tasted just like my grandma used to make. She passed when I was 5. I am 37 now and haven’t been anywhere that makes mashed potatoes like hers!!! Great food great service and it brings back great feelings!!! Chicken tacos and bacon cheeseburger that my husband ordered were amazing as well!! Bun was toasted to perfection! Our 5 and 9 year old approved as well!

The food was very tasty! We got the cheese squares as an app and we both got a Tavern Burger, one with a side salad and the other with fries. The burgers were really juicy and flavorful! The staff was very kind and friendly as well!

I need to clarify, before I get too far into this, that my wife is Cuban, and we have sampled Cuban Sandwiches in a lot of places. The menu says this is the best Cuban outside of Miami, and they are not lying. This may be the first traditional Cuban Sandwich we have found in the Midwest… no barbecue sauce, no Ciabatta bread. This was as close to what we make from scratch at home that we have seen.
