First time ordering Nick’s Pizza and the food was not edible. First the cheese Calzone was burned outside and not fully cooked inside much of the dough inside was very undercooked. The pizza was burned, overcook and soggy crust. A good restaurant would not serve food in such condition. The cheese on the pizza had a dry elastic texture. One of the worst pizzas I have had in Pittsburgh. I understand by reading some of the reviews that these are not the original owners and most of the reviews were given prior. Very, very disappointed, a total waist of money!!!

We’ve enjoyed Nick’s Pizza over the last few years and have mostly had good experiences but our order last night was underwhelming. Maybe it was because we ordered it to be ready at a future time (1 hr) and they made it early and it was sitting for a while. But the pizza was just warm, the toppings were sparse and the wings were overcooked but just warm and not as crispy (since they were sitting in the box steaming for a while). Disappointing experience and probably won’t be back for a while. It wasn’t our usual experience so maybe it’s just a one off but we’ll be sticking with our other favorites in the area going forward.

If I could give them a Zero, I would . They were very disrespectful when I went down to complain about their meatball dish. I had to go down because NO ONE returned my calls . The food was burnt and inedible. It should never have been delivered. They told me to get out of their store and called me insane. That is how Nicks Pizza treats their customers. I will never patronize them again. Ever. And by the way, that picture was taken the minute it arrived and I sent that picture to the cell phone of the restaurant, as well as to my friends and neighbors . They all said -Go down there and show them what was delivered!!!!

Very nice staff. If you order hot wings, so good, but more of a dry rub- real hot (suggest medium) – but I loved these hot wings cause love spicy food Pizza had a good flavorful sauce but for $2.50 a topping, we hardly got any mushrooms or pepperoni. Could have used more cheese too Want to try their beer battered cod for lent. Definitely would go back

Best pizza around, the steak deluxe pizza was great. Their Doughboys, which I can only describe as a pizza taco panini from heaven, were a new experience for me. The Italian and Cheese steak doughboys were delicious and HUGE, tons of bang for your buck.

Flavor, Flavor Flavor. I had the pleasure of eating at Nick’s. The owners and staff are amazing first of all. This alone will keep me coming back. The food is amazing. The nick rolls, the cheesesteak dough boy, and the buffalo chicken pizza. The doughboy I haven’t seen anywhere and it’s amazing and yes I ate it by myself. 🙂 Also homemade cookies! Count me in! I tried Nick’s on a whim because my favorite pizza place was closed and they had good reviews. They did not disappoint! We got a large pepperoni pizza and it was hot and delicious. I would love to try some more items on the menu next time I’m in town.
