Support local! Went here for ribs as I was craving ribs, and the reviews drew me to the place. I ordered the rib plate, but since I only wanted ribs, the first option, Rib Sandwich, made sense as suggested by the owner. I paid $18 because I ordered 2 orders of the rib sandwich. One to satisfy my craving and one for later midnight snack . The meat was cooked right (first time trying southern bbq, so maybe my opinion doesn’t hold merit yet…haha).

I’ve been driving past this location for months as my office is right down the road, figured I would give it a shot today! Glad I did! A little hole in the wall but definitely great food, especially the hash and the rice. Will definitely be back! Inside is dated and small, only reason for not being 5 stars….but you won’t be disappointed with the BBQ!

My first time eating there was this past Friday. It was a little bit of a wait, given as he appears to be the only one that cooks, prepares take out, dine-in and checkouts. Other than him being shorthanded on help, the food was the best I’ve ever had, in terms of barbecue. I’ve been calling over the course of the last few days to get takeout, but there’s be no answer and I haven’t spotted him outside on the grill. Looking forward to my next meal.

My.husband and I truly love the food here. We always go back!!! Its been a year!! The Ribs are to die for and that sauce out of sight. It is a.bit of a wait. Just have to.be patient. I had BBQ ribs, hash rice and beans and it was the best BBQ I have eaten in South Carolina! Prices are more than reasonable, IMHO. The place is perhaps eclectic for lack of a better word. Some may prefer to go elsewhere, but the BBQ the best in State!

If you are looking for some really good BBQ then stop here! Its literally the best BBQ in Sumter. Currently its only open on Friday and Saturday. But that shouldn’t stop you from getting some amazing BBQ after a long week of work.

Great food. You will not be disappointed. Be prepared to get something than what you’re craving because things get sold out quickly. Sometimes you have to wait but it’s soooo worth it. A true hole in the wall, the food is pristine. The hours are a bit inconvenient for me but if you remember them you’ll be good. A must try for the Sumter area WAY BETTER THAN WARDS BQQ

Best bbq chicken I’ve tasted in Sumter so far. Went 2 times before and he was all out. Don’t bother try calling as he is a one man show and most likely won’t have the time to answer. This also means you might have to wait a while. although the place coud be improved i still give 5 stars as i was impressed with the qualitu of the food. I plan to go back to try the ribs.
