Expensive and NOT worth it. One of our group got sick from the soggy/greasy onion rings in less than a half hour after we finished. Order taker refused to cook a burger medium rare, said it had to be well done or the health dept would be after her! Never heard of that. Fries were mediocre. BBQ pit pork was meat doused in bbq sauce. When we asked for something to wipe off the wet table she snapped that she had just wiped it off. Geez, if you don’t like people and/or your job, get something where you don’t have to deal with people!

Great friendly service. Had the pulled beef sandwich plater. You get plenty of beef on your sandwich but I found the beef to be very dry and no flavor. Rest of the plater was good smoked Mac an cheese and there beans

Just went here today with my children. The food was just ok. And the price was outrageous. Over $40 for two orders of chicken tenders (3 in each order), one order of fries, and a pit beef combo (pit beef sandwich, fries, and coleslaw). Sorry, that’s crazy. I love small town eateries, but those prices were simply absurd. Pit beef was ok, wish I would have gone with pulled pork instead of beef, which I found to be dry.

Passing through on the way home and very high quality, delicious food!! Platter meal plus soup came to $20. Wait time was close to 20 minutes but it’s all made fresh and worth it! Spacious picnic tables outside to eat in the beautiful weather. Friendly staff and right across the street is the historic market stand.

My daughter and I have made it a tradition to stop here every summer, and it’s one of my favorite places ever! The food is amazing – the BBQ sandwiches are incredible, and I always eat my daughter’s leftover chicken tenders because they are so good, ha! Fries are excellent too. And the people are so nice! We need to start making the trip more than once per year!

My Dad and I love this place! He says their pulled pork sandwich is the best one in the area. They also make a great Turkey Bacon and Rueben sandwiches. The owner is also very pleasant.
