The place is not fancy by any means and I was a little nervous at first when we drove up. The food was excellent. The sushi rolls and, appetizers were excellent!! The food was hot and fresh!! Excellent flavor!!! Don’t let. Bad review scare from this place. Also the service was amazing and the staff is very sweet.

Got the Lotus unagi roll and it’s the worst sushi I ever had in my life. $12 for this?? I got ripped off. Barley had any eel and I expected this to have rice in it.

Ichiban was the first sushi place in town over 15 years ago. They take care of you and have amazing rolls. And I’m addicted to their Avacado Poppers. Everything is delicious.

Burnt spider roll with no sauce, brown furry edamame that was pulled from a mini fridge by the front counter. $41 for garbage that we couldn’t eat. Didn’t feel like driving 20 minutes back there to get my money back. This place is gross and should close.

I decided to try Ichiban to see what they had to offer. I started with miso soup and a spicy crab egg roll that was excellent. That was followed by a monkey roll with a mango sauce on top that not only looked like baby food but sort of tasted like it too. I definitely won’t be ordering that again. The volcano roll was very filling and tasty but the varying temperatures throughout the roll was off putting. The service was excellent and the prices were cheaper than other sushi restaurants in town but the decor matched the price. Overall it wasn’t bad but there is room for improvement.

First time trying Ichiban. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was simple. Nothing fancy. However, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We had crab crackers as an appetizer and I had the seared salmon for my entree. The salmon could not have been cooked better, in my opinion. Great taste and consistency. Prices were reasonable, especially for dinner. I will definitely go back.

Great service with a smile. A Very savory cuisine. Wonderfully quaint Japanese style sushi bar. Only two complaints are no exchange for undesired food and music is not Japanese.

My girlfriend drove 20 minutes to get 2 firecracker rolls. Then drove home another 20 minutes only to find out there was slim to zero spicy mayo sauce inside. We called and complained and even offered to bring it back to prove that there was a mistake. They insisted that we didn’t have to, when we came back another 20 minutes to get a replacement the persons just handed us 2 cups of mayo sauce. Ichiban, instead of honoring their mistake they made it seem like we were lying to them.
