Expansive city views, great service, delicious food, and a well curated bar… 1 Watson is a great addition to the Downtown San Antonio dining scene. We brunched on a Sunday and enjoyed both Watson’s sweet and savory options, and our server Jessica was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. In fact, the entire team was wonderful. The only pause had nothing to do with Watson. The parent AC Hotel valet charge has to be paid at the hotel’s front desk, not the stand or restaurant. The wait to pay was long and the set-up odd.

I love the atmosphere here. The service was great, the drinks were creative and delicious. I wish there were more options on the menu, but I understand it’s a lounge. The jalapeño poppers and brisket tacos were really bland. A good salsa would’ve made them much better. But the overall experience was amazing & I’ll definitely be going back.

This was our first time here, stayed at the AC Hotel and went to the Watson in the evening for drinks and some food. The Staff were extremely polite and helpful with recommendations of drinks and food. We had a great night, the Damsel in distress was awesome. Had a few of them, the brisket jalapenos were really good as well as the brisket street tacos. The views are nice but too many larger buildings going up around the area and blocking some area’s. Definitely will be a returning guest. Probably when the weather is a bit cooler.

Awesome view and awesome drinks. Highly recommend. They have small and big tables. It is perfect for date/girls night/ parties. We had a awesome girls night there. You also can see the church light show from the top! Friendly reminder. You need to book it at least one week ahead to get the perfect time

It’s is a great place to have a delicious dinner, a refreshing drink and amazing views. Staff is so friendly, the decoration of the place is really nice and prices are fair. We just walked in without reservation and they gave us a table. I ordered brisket tacos and were delicious! I’ll be back again for sure!

Soooo we went for brunch thinking we can get brisket tacos or the Dr Pepper sliders. Nope, only brunch menu was available with a small selection of food. We got the bagel board and dipped out, it was a total waste of time, not to mention the valet parking taking over an hour to retrieve our vehicle. Customer service wasn’t all that great. The view was simple, atmosphere was decent. Had I known other food couldn’t be ordered I for sure would’ve just went to the Moons Daughter

Food was good . Charcuterie board was small for the price but good. The crab beignets were amazing. They were my favorite. The drinks were super tasty. Great views also. Server messed up our checkout process tho which was disheartening. We asked her to split the bill in two evenly and somehow she ignored our request and put the entire bill on one card. This is an issue when budgeting for the evening. Then a hassle to get the money returned , etc..other than the service it was great.

Loved this gem of a place. We made reservations ahead of our show at the Majestic and found this place to be just perfect to have some cocktails and appetizers. I recommend the Carajillo—one of the best I’ve had! Service was stellar and the ambiance was nice! Will return!
