Ladies behind counter were more than nice. They took time to explain the selection process and the choices available. It was our first time visiting. We had the stewed beef and the tripe. I’d said both were okay but not amazing. The jollof rice wasn’t spicy at all. The efo-riro was very nice. Everything needed more salt to suit my tastes, but I usually like more salt than is good for anyone so take that comment … with a grain of salt. ( ) The rice portions were huge. The care with which they packaged the to-go dishes was great. I would go again. I’d just have to adjust for more salt and spice for my pallette. But very good overall. Thanks much!

We drive almost 40 min just to get some delicious African cuisine. We love the Egusi with stewed beef and Jollof with whole fried Croaker. Portions are good, food delicious!

From my first to most recent visit, I always know I can count on them to give me that nostalgia feeling of being back home in 9ja. The food is always on point!

wonderful and delicious food, but small portion size. I have grown to love this restaurant, and i’ve had several of there items. For the amt of 30 dollars, I would like a larger portion. This food is suppose to be for 2 adults, but I have the feeling, That I will still be hungry afterwards. Yes I will continue to eat there. Really nice group of ladies working there.

This is by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD IN AN AFRICAN RESTAURANT in the entire United States. The lady at the counter was not only RUDE, ARROGANT but WICKED and DISRESPECTFUL. She treated us as if we didn’t spend a penny over there. I will never go back there again. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Worst customer service ever. Everyone is RUDE and ARROGANT over there. I would have given 0 star if it was possible. Stay away from this place.

Stewed beef and pounded yam was great. Other people in the party were happy too with their orders of ground nut chicken. All containers were either plastic or Styrofoam though. I was there for my second visit and ordered jollof rice and beef stew. The food was just average. It cane with no greens even. I second the comments in the Irma Tate review below for the same day about the beef and the gentleman.

First time here. Not welcoming and didn’t really feel the patience even after I said it was our first time. Not sure if the weather affected it. We got the egusi and okra with fufu. Im going to have to agree with many of the previous reviews. Portions are small for its price . Again the food is really new to our taste so I’ll say overall it was okay. It’s hard to describe the taste. Would we buy it again? Probably not. Would we suggest this place for others to try? Yes.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today. The service was good and the restaurant was really clean! This was my first time trying fufu and egusi soup. It was delicious! The flavor was not overpowering but just right. I would love to try to make this dish at home. At first I thought the serving size was small for 14.99 but it was actually very filling. I only took away a star because the food was not piping hot. The fufu was but the soup could have been a little warmer. I will eat here again.
