If a dingy bar has great food, a decent selection of craft beer on tap, and good service is it considered a dive? These sorts of questions challenge any reviewer. I can say this: If you put aside the appearance of the place, you will be pleased to have visited. I have reviewed bars orders of magnitude more upscale which disappointed. After several visits, RJ’s did not disappoint. A diamond in the rough.

Came here with my gf and her mom. The waitress was nice, checked on us regularly, and got our order perfect. I had a burger and fries the burger was very good and the fries were okay definitely will stop here again.

They should be a pub, not a grill. The server was great, friendly. We got the chicken cheese steak sandwich, it was good. Fries were good. The meatball sliders could not be eaten, so bad, the wings had a good flavor but were cooked to dust. So overcooked and expensive The soft pretzel was not soft and overpriced. If you stick to the pub vibe, place would be good. Fried goods and friendly folk, even the seemingly regulars were friendly and nice.

Stopped here quick for some takeout wings while passing through Philipsburg. Nice little bar. Old school, dive’ish but in a good way. It took about 25mins to get my wings in a place that only had 6 patrons at the bar. BUT that’s the only minus for them. The hot wings were great. Cooked perfectly and crispy. I definitely wanna stop back sometime when I can have a few beers!
