We used to order takeout from here all the time. We had not ordered in a couple years for no real reason. Today I stopped in for lunch and I can only guess it’s new ownership because it’s totally different. The food is totally different, the place has been remodeled and the phones are not ringing off the hook like they used to when I can in. When I say the food is different, that’s not a good thing. It was not bad, but it was not to the standard it used to be. I would have rated this place a solid 4.5 before, but now my 3 seem high. Average to slightly below average food was prepared for me today. I’ll come back and make sure it wasn’t just a bad day.

1st time here… and I’m very disappointed in the quality of this meal. Orange Chicken. I only ate two bites and just couldn’t eat anymore, it just tasted fatty/chewy. But the rice was good

My family has been coming here for years. We’ve ordered takeout so many times and they’ve never once got our order wrong. We’ve dined in and it’s always amazing food and service. I cannot eat at any other Chinese restaurant because they’ve set the bar so high. We love this place so much!

The most value-for-money Chinese I’ve had in Columbus yet. Their cuisine is also exceedingly genuine and homely! Ample seating space, good service and parking space. Definitely try out the tea too!

“I recently visited Grand China Chinese restaurant and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The menu was extensive, and everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The General Tso’s chicken was perfectly crispy with a tangy and slightly spicy sauce, and the beef and broccoli was tender and savory. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and would highly recommend Grand China to anyone looking for excellent Chinese cuisine.”

I was a little disappointed since I had been there a few times… Previously take out.. the rice came in a separate container making a much larger serving size… Yet cost was MORE this visit and 30% less food… Guess it’s part of the times we live in

4 stars for food. Dine in is standard strip mall atmosphere. I keep going back for takeout because I enjoy the food. Entrees are large and provide leftovers. Rice quantity could be increased. Usually not enough for the leftovers.
