I had a wonderful time. The food was so amazing. The Birria tacos are now my favorite tacos. I love that everything is make in house, I can even see the lovely lady making the tortillas fresh. But it didn’t just stop with the food. The staff was amazing and Lina was the best, she was so kind and very informative about the food. She was also very attentive on what I needed and making sure that everything was good. I will definitely be coming back and telling others to come.

Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Sanford, though it’s not without its quirks. I have been a multitude of times, and for the most part the food has been excellent! I would personally avoid any dish that comes with steak, as I’ve found it to be a little on the tough side, but I would recommend their birria tacos, their shrimp tacos, and their queso fundido without hesitation!

I loved my trip to Alebrije! Very colorful and cozy inside. Good prices ($11-$16 for most entrees). Big drink menu (most were $10-$12). The Birria tacos were delicious. Free chips & salsa of course. And very pleasant staff!

Came here on a Wednesday night after 8pm, my group was seated immediately. The service was great, the food was good, the drink were strong. It was definitely 10/10. The decor was vibrant and inviting. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Big portions taste pretty good. But the plates had been heavily used and had chips. The mojito i ordered didn’t taste that good and the salsas to liquid. The restaurant is Mexican and you expect Mexican music and all i heard was Michael Jackson and 80s rock and pop music. The Cuban waitress was so helpful and sweet she gave us a great service. I guess I’ll give it another chance.

Hands down the best Mexican food we have ever had! The Birria is fantastic. The only thing we didn’t love was how thin and soupy the salsa was, but the amazing guacamole made up for that. Service was great too. Our server, Erik, was very attentive and polite. Not sure why this place wasn’t packed on a Saturday night. It’s a must try.

So delicious! I had the lunch menu enchiladas and they were 100% yummy. The chicken was all white meat, moist, tender and flavorful. The beef was perfectly seasoned and tender. They were loaded with meat, not a stingy portion. My other friends gave double thumb ups on their lunch. The service was excellent (ask for Lena) she treated us like we were in a 5 star restaurant! The place is clean and bright and comfortable. I had no idea that this hidden gem was so close to my house. PLUS the prices are fair and reasonable. Free chips and salsa while you wait!

Me and my man LOVE this place! Down to the service, drinks and we obviously come here for the food the snapper is at a great price! And is well cooked could use a bit more seasoning but you can tell it’s a fresh fish. Every time I come here I ALWAYS get the Birria tacos, the sauce the beef seasoning everything is well cooked. The only downside I would say is sometime on the menu they’ll have things listed that are currently out of stock but other than that Nico the bartender and Wendy the server always take great care of us. 10/10 !!!
