I am a regular customer from Dera. I always used to buy from them. It’s been couple of years I buy from them. Specially during Ramadan I always buy Haleem, pakora, Chillies fry, Tandoori Leg piece and others. But today I got surprised by their food quality. I bought haleem today. Which had extreme level of sault. Extreme means I don’t know how to explain, I bough it home. Everyone ate one bite and throw away. The salt was that much extreme and it was not tasty like before. I bought Chillies fry. Same problem extremely salty. We were unable to eat. I bought tandoorileg piece. The chicken was smelly and not properly cooked. I don’t think so they marinated well. The Indo-Pak buffet has range of delicious dishes. Highly recommend to go for buffet so one can taste all sorts of items. The decor is ok. Bathrooms are clean but wet.

My sister and brother-in-law were visiting from out of town, I wanted to take them someplace different. We were greeted immediately at the door and shown to our table. We told them it was our first time there and we did not know what to order. We were told not to worry they were going to take care of us, shortly after food started coming out. First this bread stuffed with chicken, it was spicy and delicious. Then comes the main course, a chicken dish, which I will never be able to pronounce, a kabab platter, rice, lentils and a delicious bread that tastes fresh we made. The three of us ate so much that we were completely stuffed and did not want to stop eating. There was still enough leftovers for me to eat two more plates at home. Altogether the bill was less than $70. We could not have been happier and I will definitely be going back.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to emphasize just how terrible the food was at this particular establishment. Our group of six decided to have dinner at Dera Restaurant in Springfield. The staff assured us that their buffet was always fresh, with no leftovers from the previous day. Despite our usual preference to avoid buffets for dinner, a few of us were convinced by their repeated assurances and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst buffets we’ve ever encountered. Nothing appeared fresh, and when we brought this to the staff’s attention, they provided us with excuses instead of addressing the issue. The pulao was undercooked, and none of the other dishes tasted any better.

I always had a great experience at Dera staff is awasome and food is always fresh. Price is reasonable. I highly recommend thia place. I always come here with my friends. Biryani is the most tatsty diah here. I love tandoori chicken. Seekh kabob and haleem also had a unique and awasome taste.

Just left this restaurant. What a bad service and bad food. They served us chicken tikka that was still UNCOOKED. We told the server he apologized, took the food back and 2 minutes later he brought the food back with him and said chef is saying cooked. I offered him a price for them to see it for themselves but he didn’t wanna try it. NOT servers fault but what a joke. Will never go back again. Terrible management and whoever sent that food back was a very insulting gesture. Unbelievable!
