From the customer service to the food this place is delicious. It brought my husband and myself back 23 years ago when we went on a date to Bennigans in Baton Rouge. We ordered the Full order of Monte Crisco with Strawberry preserve. Omg. It was heaven on Earth. It’s a must try.

The owner and staff are extremely accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed their version of the Monte Cristo. Just know— its a lot of food and you will definitely have leftovers if you order the dinner sized portion! I will be back again to try one of their burgers.

Just wasn’t over all impressed. The family are here, the wife’s meal came out first, she was almost done with her meal when the child got their meal, then after the child was most of the way through I got mine. After waiting for quite a while, the wife and child went to the car, I sat and waited a bit longer before finally going up to pay the bill as the conversation behind the counter was more pressing that getting paid for the meal I guess? After getting rung up and exiting the place, the wife looked at the receipt and it wasn’t even close to being right. Just not enough fight in me to want to walk back in. Doubtful if this place stays open multiple years at all. Fingers crossed as I hate to see a small business go down, just really let down after the experience.
