Stumbled upon this local favorite purely by accident. The lunch buffet today featured two of my faves — chicken fried steak and catfish. I usually avoid fried foods on a buffet, but these were great tasting and not mushy at all. Nice and fresh and crispy. Plenty of comfort food sides to go with them. The place bustled and service was excellent.

Eat here often, always been good. The lady at the cash register was so rude after asking politely about my price, I was told to go golden corral if i didn’t like it. Be the last time I eat here, to bad, was one of my favorite places.

We eat at Johnny’s all the time and usually have a good experience, but today I was very disappointed. The 3 rating I gave the meal was for my husband’s food and my curly fries. My patty melt was on dried bread and the burger was burned. Our server asked if everything was alright and i told her about the patty melt. She offered to have another made but I said no and my husband finished and we went to pay. Again we were asked if our meal was okay. I shared again about my meal. All we got was a “sorry”. Very disappointing because Johnny’s has always been our spot.

Sundays HAVE been buffet ONLY for a few years now. A lot of the Sunday crowd gets upset when they cannot have it their way. If it’s strictly “BUFFET ONLY”, what makes you think you can order off the menu…

I attended a private event. The food was so delicious! Comfort on a plate. This is a cozy, homey place. The staff were attentive. My only complaint? Clifton is so far away from me!

What a nice and quiet place. The perfect place to eat breakfast, I had the hungry jack with a side of sausage patties, bacon, and french toast. My wife had the migas. It’s just a really nice place to sit and relax while eating breakfast. A for sure must try and return.

While the food was good, the waitress’s don’t seem to care about getting drinks or anything out to the customer. The girl who takes the money at the cash register is rude and acts entitled. Been going here for years and the wait staff has really gone downhill.
