I live in Portland, and while the sushi scene probably isn’t as hot as the LA area, I was pleasantly surprised that this tiny, random spot in a strip mall near my hotel blew every place in Portland out of the water. Got a sashimi sampler, sizzling white roll, and rock’n’roll, and they were all phenomenal. Not only was everything super flavorful, fresh, and unique, but the presentation was something you’d expect at a much fancier spot. Highly, highly recommended!
