First time here at Cook Out. The cheeseburger I ordered was great. It tastes just like it does if you cook at your house on the grill. I also had onion rings, and they were good! Friendly staff. Prices are great! For the five of us, it was under 40 dollars! That is fantastic, and we even all got sides and drinks too. The floor and bathroom were a little on the dirty side, though, so ♀️. I would recommend eating here just for the value alone and the taste.

The staff was very friendly and our food came out quickly. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean. The only negative thing was my burger… I live in NC and I have been eating the Big Double Burger for 20 years. I have never seen such a small amount of beef on a BDB. It was like they took the patties from a McDouble and used them to make a Big Double. I don’t know if that’s a South Carolina thing or just this store, but the portion sizes should not be going down while the tray prices are going up.

It was my first time going to one! The lady behind the counter didn’t understand what I meant by are the onion rings beer battered but that’s ok. Lol honestly for the price and everything was fresh they beat mc Donald by 100 times over. I believe it was 7 or 8 for a whole mean. I got a burger, bacon wrap fries and a drink! The food was good too!

Wow! This place is disgusting! The floors, bathroom, and tables were dirty. Like every table! Not only that, the door handle to enter the restaurant was dirty. I was greeted when I walked in and that was nice, but her uniform was dirty. I was visiting from out of state so I’m happy to know I’ll never be back there. I continued my drive north and ate in North Carolina.

Filthy lobby, like so dirty you could see Jean imprints in the grease of the seat. So we got the food to go. Was charged extra for cheddar cheese. Only to find nacho cheese sauce slathered over my burger. This was after I specifically requested cheddar since I didn’t want American “cheese”. Was told this is our “cheddar”. So basically they dont serve any real cheese here unless you consider the curds real cheese. Got full refund and ate at Taco bell acroos the street instead. Wanted to try something new but will never return Cook out.

This was my first time visiting a cookout and I must say the food was outstanding but the customer service experience was even better! The guy I believe he said his name was Lamar, he practically took my order made the perfect shake I’ve ever had he was amazing. He should teach a customer service class. Drive through customer, ordered grilled chicken club sandwich, Cajun fries. Pulled up, paid with a card, almost instantly handed my food, no thank you have a nice day, although I did. The window literally just closed, I heard a little girl inside saying GO, GO, GO, as I’m putting my card in my wallet, not 2 seconds. This was extremely rude, my fries were very soggy, the sandwich looked like it was put together by a toddler. There’s a Buckee’s, a couple miles down 95, another Cook Out and tons of options on exit 164, plenty of options north bound. Pass this one up, they are to fixated on the company timer than proper food and customer service. If there’s any contradicting explanation given it is a lie.
