Nice on the river spot for Happy Hour, Lunch or Dinner. Gather with friends or visitors and enjoy the view. Funky kinda place with eclectic decorations, indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of spots at the bar. A good variety of menu options and service is friendly. We always stop in here when in the area.

Had to take a business trip. While in town my associate and my self stop here for dine in. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day. Had an amazing view and people here all the way were very friendly. I ordered the elk burger which was cooked to perfection as I asked. My associate ordered the fish and chips. Cooked to golden brown so juicy and the fish melted in your mouth. Had a great experience here. Would recommend anyone passing through or living in town.

The Trout dish is Amazing….forgot the pics…next time. Short Rib Sammy was amazing for C biscuit as well! Ice cold drafts on the back porch overlooking the Frying Pan river. Must do in Basalt!

They have delicious food at reasonable prices. Their elk burger, truffle fries, and the trout dip was SO good. The staff was fantastic and patient with us as we ordered. 100% would recommend and will definitely go back again when in the area.

Cool location by the river. Service was good. The food was absolute trash and EXTREMELY over priced. $29.00 Cobb salad that was the size of a side salad. Unreal. Mc Donald’s on the river.

Took my family of four to dinner at the Tipsy Trout. We were seated promptly but then had to wait 10-15 minutes to get a server to greet us. Made our drink and food order at the same time and the only other time our server Daniela came to our table was to deliver our food. Never again checked on us once. Neat atmosphere and food was ok but the service was the worst I’ve ever had. If you get Daniela as your waitress I’d just get up and leave or ask for someone else.

This place blows dogs for quarters. The service was terrible and the drinks were overpriced. 22 dollars for a couple of Moscow Mules, are you kidding me? I feel like you’d have to be wearing a cardigan to get anybody to serve you at this place. Terrible bar, would not recommend.

Stopped here for lunch with my 1 1/2 year old while the hubs was fishing. I had the fish tacos…delicious… and a grilled cheese for the little one! Great atmosphere, great food and our server Christina was spectacular!
