We ordered the curry chicken and jerk pork. After getting home and opening the containers we noticed the jerk pork was mainly all fat with very very little pork. The flavor was outstanding however there wasn’t much to enjoy. The curry chicken was okay but lacked in flavor. Portion sizes of rice and beans was plenty big enough. Both plates also had cabbage and plantains. I did call the restaurant after seeing the jerk pork and I was hung up on. I recommend checking your plate prior to leaving this establishment. We will not be returning.

Thankful blessed man
Wow what an experience! If I could give them less than a zero I would. The woman at the counter taking order didn’t smile and was rather rude. When I wanted to order oxtails she said that they were out of them. For a Jamaican restaurant this would be like KFC telling you that they are out of chicken. Inexcusable and embarrassing to say the least. After we ordered another woman came in and tried to order oxtails too and when she was told the same her jaw dropped and she said with total amazement “Really?”? Aside from that we waited for over 20 minutes for our jerk chicken dinners. For this reason I assumed that it was fresh, but it was anything but. The vegetables and rice tasted as if they had been sitting in a food bin all day as it was all way overcooked. The same with the three very small pieces of chicken that they give you. We also didn’t receive the boiled yam and dumpling that were supposed to be included with the dinner platter. The food is way overpriced and not worth it so don’t waste your money. I told my son that I should work there because I could make jerk chicken that is ten times better than what they have. I will never go there again and tell everyone in North Myrtle Beach that I can to totally avoid this place. How anyone can give this lace a positive view is really beyond me and if so they don’t know Jamaican food. It was that bad folks!! This business will not last.

Imported drinks were very interesting and authentic. Try a few to find what suits your pallet. The jerk chicken was juicy and fall off the bone goodness with a fabulous sauce the mixed well with the rice and beans. The mixed vegetables were also quite good with a slightly sweet taste. Jerk pork was a dry spice rub, and a little dry though tender. The curry goat was surprisingly good, though a bit too many bones in the meat. It was slow cooked and tender, just a lot of picking out. All three had a fair amount of spiciness, and portions were generous.

Oxtails were horrible! They were sweet..eew. Barely any meat. Tasted old. Box was half empty. The girl at the register was rude. I have been going there for years and the oxtails used to be really good. Don’t know what’s happened but don’t waster your money. Had to throw them in the trash!

Was greeted by the cashier immediately as I walked in. Their credit card machine was down, so I had to pay in cash. Placed my order and sat down. The food did not take more than 5 minutes to plate both of my orders and drinks. The food was well seasoned, not too spicy, that you can’t enjoy your meal. This spot has limited parking and wheelchair accessible entrance. I wish they keep consistent, so the next time I see them, the food is just as good.

I will always support anyone or anything that is attached to my Jamaican culture. For the owners, please revisit the ingredients in the meat kinds. We ordered oxtail, stew beef, pork and chicken. The beef, oxtail and pork was extremely sweet (large amount of sugar content) we literally thought it was BBQ meals we were eating. The chicken had a sour taste to it. My family have been frequent visitors to your establishment and this was their 1st disappointment with the food. Otherwise from that area is clean and the service was great ✅

They give the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was greeted by all the employees the atmosphere and energy was amazing. The young man taking orders was polite and knowledgeable about the menu options. The young lady fixing the food was very courteous. My beef patty was great. The food was kind of bland. But still enjoyable. I would definitely return on my next trip to the beach. THANK YOU

Plantains were soggy, not impressed. Also jerk chicken Meal said it would come with vegetables and dumplings and I didn’t receive either with my meal. I feel it was very overpriced for what you get, it’s mostly rice- flavor was good.
