Ok, so. I’ve been either going to this Palo Alto location or Sunnyvale. Yesterday was our first time coming back to Palo Alto since a few months. Maybe I came here once in June, but yeah. This place is usually pretty clean, but yesterday there was one guy working the counter and maybe 10 employees behind him prepping or working on online orders. Took us a while to get service, everyone working in the back section would just stare instead saying, “hello.” Awkward. Someone walked over and came to help us and he was just throwing everything in the bowl so sloppy, didn’t really put time into it. Nor did he really ask us if we wanted to add anything else. I ordered the guacamole greens and they didn’t even have the chicken it came with so I had to settle for blackened chicken. Which was about to run out so I got all the wet chicken at the bottom which made my salad mor soup based. I said medium on my dressing and he went super heavy. So my salad was so drenched that it was like soup at the bottom. Our hot honey chicken plate was also like just thrown all together. Not measured correctly. Such a disappointment. Then the ice and water machine was broken and the ice would only come out tablespoons at a time. So I went and told one of the girls prepping the almonds and I kindly told her that the ice was barely coming coming out. She responded “oh, I guess it’s broken then.” Didn’t offer to check what’s wrong, offer to help. Probably the worst service at this location. It wasn’t like this before. I will stick to Sunnyvale .

First time here. I had the harvest salad bowl and was definitely impressed. The price is a on the higher side for a salad. But nothing above what you would expect for a place on Castro street. I’ll be back to try their other offerings very soon. Highly recommended.

Ordered several times for convenience and never had a good experience. The portion sizes vary immensely and I had items forgotten more than once. The salad options seem interesting but once you get your order is quite disappointing

This is probably the worst sweetgreen I have ordered from. They are often very delayed with take out orders, and on my most recent order, my bowl was missing 3 standard ingredients and the kale was yellowing. A really poor experience.

I love this location. They have great friendly staff who offer great service w a smile. I’ve always had a great salad and never feel cheated on portion sizes. Their options are always fresh and plentiful. They have delicious options and are fairly priced. Here’s tonight’s dinner.

Worst service ever, went to the restroom and saw an employee not even wash their hands. I believe there was a manager on that day and she was so rude. I’ve worked in the service industry for 10 years and always respect food/industry employees as I know it’s not an easy job. But the lack of hospitality and professionalism this expensive salad bar has is not worth it. I enjoyed walking across the street to joe and the juice instead:)

Slowest store Ive been to. Never ever is your order finished on time. Ive ordered from here at least 6 times, and each time when I arrive at the expected completion time, I end up wasting 5-15 minutes sitting around waiting. The most recent time I ordered from here, I waited 40 min, for a 11am order, then when I arrived, workers were hanging out and I had to remind them of my order before they spent the 30seconds to actually put together a salad.
