This has been a favorite restaurant of ours for years…beautiful gardens, great bar, professional and friendly staff, excellent food and all at a great value. However last night was different. My favorite “the Wallay” seemed to be pre-plated and then heated up for serving and when I asked for the recommended Blanc wine which was next to it on the menu, the server told us that they were now recommending a Chardonnay. “Fine” we said because the menu had wines listed between $8.50-$10. We ordered a total of 4 glasses and when we got the bill, I thought our server had given us someone else’s check. Turns out the wine was $20 each. We felt like we got the “bait and switch” and I am not sure if we will go back.

Outstanding service, Delicious menu items and Excellent atmosphere! Prices are higher than a regular restaurant, but this is no regular restaurant by any means. Went here for Mother’s Day (reservations required) and the mother that was with me totally enjoyed it – it was well worth it! We’ve been here a few times in the past and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed The Grill Room at Clearbrook each time!

Service was good, a little slow. Ambiance, especially outdoors, is outstanding. It seems the quality of the entrees has slowly deteriorated over the years. The other factors will keep us coming, perhaps next time we will order salad or sandwich.

They offer great outdoor seating that overlooks the golf course. Female bartender shakes up a great Martini. Both the Whitefish and Walleye were very tasty. Vegetables overcooked and potatoes dry.

The food was generic at best. Mashed potatoes smelled rancid. Waitress admitted putting order in late. 1 hour and 45 minutes to get food with no compensation. Wont be back or recommend.
