The burrito was huge and tasty. They had fresh sauce that was made, and kept in a closed container, which I appreciate.. I ordered the California breakfast burrito and added ham . Cost a little over 12 bucks but worth it. Originally it was around 9 bucks . I didn’t like that the potatoes were French fries. I prefer potatoes cooked on the skillet, and I had a problem with communicating due to language. But I would come back here again. Overall super good experience

Didn’t want to go far from our resort. Decided to stay in neighborhood. This was our 1st time at this place. It was a great experience. Staff was so friendly and full of smiles. It’s more a fast food place. Food was out of this world. This is a gem that normally you would drive by. Portions were huge, had left overs for next day lunch. We will definitely go to on next trip.

Found this place on a recommendation from a stranger at Winco right down the street. It’s been 13 years since I’ve been in California and was wanting some authentic Mexican food specifically a California burrito Cantañeda’s really hit the spot. Thank you so much my belly is so happy and full!

Always great fast food. Jack quesadilla is big and filling. Green chicken enchiladas have a good kick to them. There nachos are always great. The chips take longer to get soggy then other places I’ve had. Stays crunchy under the guacamole and cheese.

My dad brought me to this restaurant while I was visiting him and I really liked this place. I had the beef taco meal. Nice and crunchy and fresh tacos. The rice was ok, and the beans were good. The only negative was that we had an old take out menu, and when we were in the restaurant and asked for an updated one they didn’t have any. We were told that the owner hasn’t made any but their prices went up at least $2 dollars each entree. We had also tried to call them to place the order to go but the phone number wouldn’t go through. The staff said that their number had changed, not sure if the online number worked. We just decided to go to the restaurant. For the most part we had a good experience.

First time rating same location after over a year… but Connor (my 5yr old son) and I have been here twice this week alone, per little man’s request… but HOLY HELL, the women here KICKASS (my son is in love with them), but our food is so damn good!! Juicy, fresh, made EXACTLY how we ask. HANDS DOWN BEST CASTENADA IN THE VALLEY!!!

I am currently driving away from this place as I type because the experience was so awful. First of all, we were the only ones in the restaurant so how they served us literally cold burritos is beyond me. Not luke warm, not they cooled down, literally cold. Cold beans, cold potatoes, cold meat. I opened my burrito 1 minute down the road prior to re-entering the fwy on my way back from AZ. Literally frozen burritos. And we suspect it was done intentionally because we were the only ones there. How do you accidentally over look cooking the food?!? Any way, do not recommend. Food is awful and cold. The one pound burrito is underwhelming and is much smaller than most burritos I’ve purchased throughout California. I would’ve turned around to return the food but it’s already been a long drive so here I am giving the rest of you a heads up to avoid this place like the plague.

The food was cold and bland. I ordered Carne asada fries, both fries and meat were cold. Our tacos and burrito were also cold for the price we paid we expected to at least have warm food. I won’t be returning to this establishment.

The food here is great, I’ll give them that. However, the last time my family and I visited this location, it looked terrible. The trash bins were overflowing, the outside of the bins were dirty with smeared salsa and god knows what, the floor was sticky, the walls were dirty, there was food all over the tables and chairs. Even the soda fountain looks dirty. This place honestly looks a little run down and like there is no pride in how it looks. The last time I went before this visit was months ago, it was great and clean. Apparently the way it is now is now the norm, which is disappointing. The food is great but I suggest you take it to-go.
