Want to talk about where you can get the best root beer around? This place! Their root beer is absolutely incredible, and their deserts are amazing! I was blown away by their desert presentations and how good it tasted! I, however, was not a big fan of the service and felt like we were bothering our waitress by having her get us more rootbeer or even desert…other than that I would have given this place 5 stars and I do think everyone should visit this place and get some yummy deserts! They have some of the best!

I usually come here at least once a month. Little disappointed. I ordered a salad with steak medium it came out overcooked. This is the third time in a row that I’ve been here and they didn’t offer complementary bread and butter. I asked about it as leaving And they said I would have to ask for it in order to have it. How do you know they have complimentary if they don’t tell you or ask you if you want it.?

I ordered the Cubano sandwich and it was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. We also had wings which were good, onion soup that was watery and the fries tasted and smelled of old cooking oil. Also had a Downeast cider that was served in a small cordial glass for $8.50. The only positive part of our lunch was our server. She was very nice.

Taphouse is one of the better local restaurants in my hometown. Always outstanding quality food and service, my favorite is when they host Steak night and go into a full steakhouse theme. Lissy, April, Kevin, Nancy and the whole staff are always professional and doing their utmost to ensure the dining experience is excellent.
