We had an early dinner here after a recommendation from a local. We were not disappointed. I had the Faroe Island salmon and my husband had the grilled salmon salad. Both of them were delicious. And our service was excellent. If we lived here we would definitely return.

I had the filet, which was cooked to perfection. The guests that I was with their food was cooked to perfection also. The service however was horrible. We sat there over 45 minutes waiting on refills, only for another waitress to come by and after asking her for a refill to no avail. We kindly asked our server (Summer) for our checks, after 45 minutes and not returning we kindly asked another server (Athena) for our checks, and she did so hastily and happily!!

My dinner here was great. The fried alligator was incredible. The orange roughy was perfect. The sides and special sauce so very tasty. My server was absolutely outstanding. The only issue is, I wanted to go back. The second night I tried there was an hour+ wait, long line. Ok, popular, no problem. The third visit there was no line but we were greeted what we all 3 felt was very rudely. While there was no line we were told they were full up. “No, no, no!”. We were told 25 minutes or more, but the way we were told scratched this off the list. The 3 of us left and felt like we’re just were not wanted there. Very disappointing.

Crab stuffed shrimp was good but the tuna steak was cooked completely inconsistent. We asked to send it back and instead they just took it off our bill. We also never got bread like all the other tables and the waiter left us with empty glasses most of the night. That being said, there’s an excellent bakery down the street when you leave here hungry….

I took my mom to dinner Friday night and there was a 15% gratuity added onto our check. I honestly thought it was a suggestion, as most places do these days, so I put zero in the tip line and signed the amount for the total of our actual order sans the 15% because we always tip in cash. The pending charge on my credit card was for the actual meal so I thought nothing of it. The transaction just cleared though and they still added in the 15%. Our food and service was good, but not $60 tip good (the forced tip plus our cash). And since when does a party of two get a forced gratuity charge?? I understand parties of 6 or more, but two people??

Food was NOT pleasant…no seasoning! We are from Louisiana NOTHING but the names of food tasted authentic….nothing/ I would have sent the red beans and rice and pasta back but my husband just paid for it bcuz our waitress was so nice ! Drinks ok…beautiful Atmosphere connected to our Awesome hotel!
