Quaint little coffee shop serves a great Iced Turtle Mocha. Large selection of scones. Nice, clean environment with an eclectic vibe. The barista greeted me upon entering and thanked me when leaving but the cashier was stoic and seemed bothered or perhaps distracted. Hoping she was having an off day.

Cute little spot to stop in and relax! Several seating areas to hang out in. The space felt very welcoming. The scones looked delicious, but we didn’t try one this time. Roots is also in a great location, and is surrounded by several shops. The perfect first time to wander downtown!

Had a chia tea latte and a energy bite and both were great! The inside was very cute and clean—a nice space to work or catch up with a friend, lots of seating options. I’d come back again and try other things as they had a lot of good looking choices! 🙂

I couldn’t love this place more. My husband and I go several times a week. From their locally roasted espresso and coffee beans to their in-house baked goods, this coffee shop is high quality. Nothing is done half-heartedly. You walk in and feel like you’ve been known by the owners your whole life. They consistently have lines to the back of the shop. If you haven’t gone, you must. Simply no questions about it.

The BEST coffee around. Dont bother going anywhere else in Cumberland or Rice Lake. They make their own scones fresh, daily. They’re always trying new flavors so you’ll never get bored – so if there’s one you particularly enjoy, stock up LOVE this place. Just wish they were open later for that afternoon caffeine fix
