Great sitting outside. Nice to have a corkage policy. The food was great.

It took a hour for the food to come one person ordered chicken piccata which was not recognizable and in edible. Glass of wine must have been opened a week ago. If you change 19 dollars a glass better quality is expected.

A mediocre Cobb salad, 4 shrimp (one of which still had his last meal attached) with a bland sauce, and 2 drinks should not cost over 70 dollars. Service was slow despite it being 3pm on a Tuesday. The only redeeming quality was the beautiful day and decent atmosphere outside. It’s a hotel restaurant, so you’re paying for the convenience, but you’d expect a little more out of a place like this. And bottom line, you should not have to devein your own shrimp when you’re paying this much.

We frequently eat at the Frontier Tavern. After a week long game of tag to confirm my reservation, we arrived and we were seated. This is when we find out that the menu has changed significantly. Selections are limited and many removed. Carb cakes, fish and chips, and onion rings to name a few. 5 of the 7 in our party had planned to order a crab cake.

We were there celebrating a wedding/bridal shower. The menu had a nice variety of traditional dishes, dishes with a twist & others you don’t see often. The atmosphere is beautiful & from Colonial Era with just enough updates for comfort. Our waiter Jacob was wonderful & attentive (my apologies if I’ve gotten the name not correct because he deserves the recognition & has worked there a couple of years…this was 4.2.23). Jacob handled 7 excited & talkative post spa women brilliantly. Helped make our spa & lunch day at Bedford Springs even more perfect!

Staying at the Bedford Springs Resort which is truly a “GEM” in the area and dined at the Frontier Tavern. What a wonderful opportunity for food. The Pub Fries were simply amazing. A must try when you stop in. I tried the smash burger, and it was outstanding. One of the best I have ever had, and I have been around the world and tried many hamburgers in my 60+ years. What to say about the service; simply over the top amazing. Everyone was friendly and made sure you were taken care of perfectly. Frontier Tavern in the Bedford Springs Resort has set the standard to beat in food service. I loved it and will be back. If you are in the Bedford. PA area the Frontier Tavern is a MUST stop for food and service.

This is an old exquisite place to be. The Bedford Springs Inn is an excellent setting. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food is second to none. Grab a martini and an order of their rubbed wings! Delicious!

Excellent service, food was good. They don’t take reservations so a wait is possible. We were there on a Saturday evening in March and the wait was only around 10 minutes. They have a kid’s menu and we saw couples, groups and families. Save room for dessert, it’s always excellent!

Great atmosphere and customer service. Favorites were the carrots and chakaure board. Lobster mac and cheese was over cooked and dry.

Enjoyed lunch here on the first day of our stay. The staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. We shared the crab dip appetizer between two people. It would have been plenty for 4! We also enjoyed a burger and a pastrami sandwich. Both were very nice portions and delicious. Would absolutely eat here again.
