This is a covid 19 take out review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. All of these California Taco Shops are consistently great. I had some rolled tacos, loved everything about them, the chicken, the crispy shell, the house sauce. I also had three Tacos supreme, one carnitas, one AL Pastor, one shredded chicken. All really tasty with their own unique flavor. The girl behind the counter was pleasure to deal with. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 9.1.

Ordered two steak burritos with everything but instead got two burritos with just cheese, lettuce & rice. They did replaced them and gave us two Jarritos, but not before asking us to bring back our burritos so they could open then in front of us to confirm.

I ordered a veggie burrito with guacamole instead of sour cream plus two containers of the spicy red sauce. It was easily the best tasting burrito I’ve ever had and one of the best meals I can remember. The vegetables seemed freshly grilled. The onions were sautéed but still crunchy. The guacamole was creamy and delicious. The red sauce had just the right amount of heat. The Spanish rice was delicious and not overpowering. I’ll be back whenever I’m nearby!!

The tacos here are the best of all the California Tacos. The cook at this location seems to know what he’s doing. Unfortunately many of the other locations pale in comparison. For example the one in Pawtucket on Central Ave is terrible. I’ve even mentioned it to the owner but still the same for years.

Love this location on Manton ave. I’ve had California tacos in other locations, and I have to say this one is the best. The service is great and the girl behind the counter is super nice and attentive. If you like great food awesome service and don’t want to spend too much California tacos is the place to go. Once you try it out you wont be able to stop going.
