This was the worst Colombian restaurant I have ever been to. It should not be named “La Colombiana” because there is nothing Colombian about the food. They didn’t have any of the juices or Colombian sodas that were offered in the menu, the empanadas were not traditional Colombian empanas and all the food tasted frozen. Bad decor and shabby restaurant made the experience much worse. Would NOT recommend to anyone looking for Colombian food

This is not an authentic Columbian food restaurant. La arepa rellena, was quite disappointing. The empanada dough was not crispy. Yuca con chicharrón was ok, but chicharrón not crispy. The waitresses, sat with the male customers, to accompanied them during the meal. Not sure if this is to encourage them to order drinks, beer or cocktails. The music is played very loudly and it’s only one genre (cantina music). Very disappointing.

Not Colombian in any way, shape or form other than in it’s name. The food wasn’t authentic nor was the music/vibe. They didn’t even carry any of the traditional Colombian sodas. The food was at least edible, but even that’s pushing it. This is not an angry rant. The customer service was great, but if you’re looking for real Colombian food please save yourself the trip.

At first I was very skeptical about the place as it was empty and dead when we went in but decided to give it a shot. To our surprise the food was delicious and the natural juice although a bit pricey was worth it. The owner was doing everything. I recommend her to have a better atmosphere and get more people to go. Maybe Groupon is a good alternative to get the buzz going since many people don’t even know about this place.

Walked in, only 1 other table had people in it sat down and waited about 10 mins before someone came to ask if we were ok and took our drink order and was told since the food was fresh it would take probably 20 mins for food to come out. Once we got those we placed an order to a picada. Waited about 1hr and got a small place of chicken pieces, 5 chorizo pieces a couple beef ones on top of romaine lettuce with some yuca. Horrable service plate not worth the $25 it was advertised for ESPECIALLY when half the stuff on the menu wasnt even served.

Great food,ambience, service. Clean and open. Bathroom always in order and presentable. In the heart of Silver Spring. All that is missing is a boat dock to park my LST landing craft with hundreds more customers.

I was excited to have found a NEW Colombian restaurant in the DMV, so hard to find. Where can I start? Entirely disappointing. Good thing I did not bring my son with me. It would have been terrible he got to see the worse COLOMBIA can offer. It was all in this “restaurant”. It maybe different in other days, but SUNDAYS… DON”T GO there unless you want to be surrounded by drugs, men smoking pot outside right next to the restaurant and making drug deals in the open on the phone and with cars passing by. Worse yet, instead of a “Bandeja Paisa” you’ll get a bunch of drunks and a drug infested establishment. Keep AWAY, specially if you go there with your family. We ordered a “pescado con arroz de coco”, fish wtih coconut rice. Guess what? No arroz con coco, just regular rice it’s what we were told. We asked for tostones since it seemed like a safe choice, we got tostones with no salsa…and the food was disgusting… left the plates. I wanted to give this place a chance and we sat outside since inside there were just a bunch of drunks at the bar.
