We have been dining here for almost 15 years. The food is still good, but the restaurant only has one waiter, and the spice tray has changed and no longer has chili oil. The outside and inside are very conformable. If you have not tried this place, you should.

Good selection of Thai food and I’d say they’re probably the best-tasting of this food genre on Alberta Street. Their basil fried rice is delicious. The inside looked a bit strange to me at first since it’s so brightly-colored, but it is pretty clean. Also, service is super nice and rather fast.

Food was great & lot of choice as usual like any other Thai place.. also seems they are one of the oldest Thai restaurants still standing & maintaining quality food.. area looks little sketchy but rest assured Food is wonderful here..

We’ve ordered take out before and enjoyed it, but the last order was disappointing. My noodle dish had the noodles in a separate glop that was congealed and only contained a few pieces of squid, 1 or 2 corns and peapods, and the serving size was small. My wife’s salad was old and uneatable. The side dish of calamari breading tasted stale. We wasted $40 and will never order again.

The service was extraordinary and I had the best food I’ve ever tasted. Not to mention the seasoning was very on point especially for the curries. I especially enjoyed the peacefulness and neatness of the restaurant and hope to come back soon.

ChaBa Thai is another traditional Thai restaurant with a decade of history on Alberta Street. Their food is fantastic, very flavorful a moderate price. A decent amount of seating so you never really have to wait long for a table or sit outside in their rustic garden. We love the Pad Thai and the Spring rolls, nicely cooked and not overdone, never too hot unless you want it to be. Just ask and they will make it as hot as you can handle.

I’ve ordered Cha’Ba take away in the past, but recently went into the restaurant with my family for the first time. There is a great outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a cute little garden. The food is very good with family sized portions. We ordered a couple orders of pad see ew and pad Kra Pao. The food was fresh and hot, and I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. There didn’t seem to be any house specialties. There are a couple of Thai restaurant on Alberta, Cha’Ba has become my go-to

Honestly pretty good, they have beautiful art and the waiters is sooo sweet. I had some spicy noodles and they didn’t disappoint but they have a wide variety of items. Okay selection of alcohol as well. The food was delivered incredibly quick

Good food and fast service. Their spicy is Thai spicy, not American, so if you are tired of making mild spice, go here!

Just got takeout for the first time last night and WOW. We got the Mussaman Curry, the Kao Soi, Pad See Ew, and the Squid Rings. First of all, when they mean VERY HOT, they mean it which was refreshing. Spicy lovers will enjoy the hottest level. The squid was crunchy, and like all the dishes, were generously portioned. The star of the show was the Kao Soi. It’s a soup, but under the noodle section because it comes with noodles, both crunchy and soft. It was rich, incredibly flavorful, and the textures all went together for a dish that really impressed. Next time we’ll skip the curry for this dish because it was much more complex. Will definitely be back!
