Best family run Italian in the Golden triangle. It’s been there for generations for good reason. If you live garlic try the house dressing. Their dishes tend sweeter than most places, not to heavy or greasy. A good alternative to the chain restaurants along the highway.

Italian sausage and spaghetti, salad with house dressing was very good. They offer small and large portions of many entrees. My small entree was the perfect size as we also ordered two appetizer samplers for our party of seven. Great red sauce!

Few months ago, pizza & cheese sticks were extremely burnt like can’t even eat burnt. Today, I was really hesitant about getting food here again. When I got home with my order, I realized the pizza was not burnt, but had absolutely no sauce on it when I didn’t ask for no sauce on it. The cheese sticks were slightly burnt and had an odd taste. The only good thing was the spaghetti. I feel this place has gone down the last few years and it’s hard for me to say since I have been a customer since I was a teenager (~14 yrs).

Check your order before you leave on to go orders. They give you the wrong things they charge you for what you asked for and then argue with you about it. I think we all know a Caesar salad is completely different than a regular house, salad, and their version is lettuce and tomato only, when you call to speak to the owner, he hides in the back and they tell you he’s not there.

Ordered a small pizza, and it tasted and felt like a frozen pizza you could get from the grocery store for $2. Fried mozzerella was decent (hard to screw up fried cheese) but the marinara sauce served with it was way too sweet, like they opened a jar of ragu and added a cup of sugar. its a shame one if the only sit down restaurants in Groves is not good.

I live 90 miles away from Colichia’s, and if we ever find ourselves in the vicinity, we make sure to be there when they’re open so we can bring home take-out.

Service Great! Pasta sauce could have used some tomato instead of sugar. House Salad great but on the wilted side.
