The ambiance is adorned with traditional Chinese decorations, creating a fantastic atmosphere for friends to gather and enjoy themselves. While the cuisine is undeniably Chinese, it’s curious why they have chosen a Japanese name. Nonetheless, the food is authentically Chinese and delicious.

I’ve been to at least 20-30 skewer places in the Bay Area in search of something that tastes remotely like the skewers I had growing up in Northeastern China, where it’s known for it’s skewers. This place is pretty legit in terms of flavors.

Chinese place specializing in a variety of BBQ skewers – including parts of meat that cannot be found at most other BBQ places. They use a similar set of spices on everything. Cooking time may take a bit from opening time, so better to come in the evening after they are warmed up.
