Excellent dinner, I highly recommend the yellowtail appetizer with the fresh jalapeños! The Crazy Tuna Roll is also excellent, and the dinner was a fair price.

The food and service is amazing, The menu is huge, so you get variety of foods to order from. We ordered a lot of different types of sushi and we loved them all. The tempura appetizer shrimp is really tasty. I would recommend Yamato for a sushi enthusiast and would advice to explore if you’re new to sushi, They have a lot to offer!

I don’t know why people are sleeping on this great place! The server was friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the gyoza, miso soup, Yum Yum roll, and hot green tea. The dumplings filling was creamy and very flavorful and the sushi roll was crunchy and not too spicy. Very impressed!

A disappointing, and actually painful experience. The rice on the sushi was warm, which was off-putting. Even worse, I literally scalded my tongue on the tea. Green tea should be brewed at a slightly lower temperature and it definitely should not be served right off the boil.

Came on a beautiful Sunday evening. Tables eventually became about half full. There was only 1 waiter who was new. No complaints he was doing his best. The menu is out of date and can be misleading. We question a few of the items and 2 of it was not made anymore. The pictures were professional but misleading as when the dishes came out it was not it. We ordered a couple a couple appetizers. The gyzoba was lukewarm, but I’ve had worse. The beef negimaki was a let down. The ends were very cooled. It’s vegetables wrapped in tender beef n chopped into something like sushi rolls. The middle parts were hot but the ends had a startling temperature difference. Ordered 2 sushi rolls plus 1 hand roll. It was satisfactory. Ordered 1 hibachi steak dinner. The steak temperature was cooled off. As if they cooked it first n left it while cooking the rest of the food. Over the service was 4/5 but the food 3/5. The environment is 4/5. It’s very well modeled interior but there is no music and only a tv in front of the bar. Sounds like Multiple people speaking over one another.

Pictures dont do this place justice. Just amazing. Been a while since a resturant has impressed me. A must go if you are into trying new cuisine! My 4 year old loved the Hibachi noodles, and the crazy tuna rolls are 10/10!!
