Re-established in 1998 by Ken and Diane Boucher, the Wood River Inn quickly became the go to Restaurant and Lounge in Washington County. Their sons Troy and Jim (and their awesome staff) continue to offer the same great food, service and entertainment today. Live music and trivia returned to the Wood River this spring, new menu items and specials are offered nightly, craft beers on tap from local breweries and some of the finest cocktails in the area. Stop by for a drink, good food and a great atmosphere.

Nice little restaurant in Wyoming, RI. Chicken Parmigiana grinder was excellent. Fried Chicken salad was enough for two meals. Plenty of parking. Waitstaff super friendly. Highly recommended.

Exceptional food every time. My friends had burgers that looked incredible. Huge portions. My breaded chicken sandwich was definitely home made. It had to have been tenderized because it was large and very thin like a well-made schnitzel. Perfectly cooked, still juicy, very flavorful breading – possibly a Johnny cake batter? Bar is from the 1800s and feels like a stagecoach tavern. Very historical. Not fancy but super fun atmosphere. The server was extremely friendly and helpful and “on it”. The fries were a+ too and looked to be made there

Unexpectedly good-staying across the street at the Stagecoach Inn -going to Newport Jazz fest tomorrow, Sunday and needed a place to have supper. The blacked tuna was fresh and delicious-my guy had the Lasagna also a winner. Add a larger beer and awesome berry cobbler dessert-best meal for under $100 we’ve had in a long time! Go there-you will not be disassembled!!!

Nice place! I really liked the decor and the menu. The food was good, but it didn’t stand out. I enjoyed the mushroom swiss burger but it was fairly average. The rest of my party seemed to have similar feedback. I’d go back and try something else.

Great Place! Our waitress Kelly was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She explained the menu and specials to us and offered her recommendations. She recommended I try the broiled scallops and the meal did not disappoint! The real homemade mashed potatoes were also amazing. She recommended the sirloin to my wife and it was cooked to a perfect medium rear. Kelly was pleasent, friendly and made sure our drinks were full. We haven’t had an experience like this in a long time. It was refreshing to have a waitress who took pride in her work and truely cared about us as customers. We will definitely be back again.
