The food was large portions. Our server was very polite. My sweet potatoe fries came out cold and burned, the server did not question it and immediately replaced. ( those fries never should have made it out of the kitchen). The food was fabulous. My husband had the burger and he raved about it. Yes, there was a mistake about the fries, but it was corrected quickly. Why 4 stars? In my opinion a 5 star place would not have served burned fries to begin with. Facility could use a little maintenance. If I am paying $13 for a sandwich pay $5 for a table adjuster and don’t shove napkins under the table to level, it is tacky looking to be honest. Again the food was amazing and service was great. I would recommend and we will be back.

We decided to trade the craziness of Simpsonville for a quiet stroll along the main street of Fountain Inn. We stopped into J Peters for lunch we are so glad we did. The staff was very warm and accommodating. Our server Athena was a joy. Everything we ordered was delicious. The prime rib sandwich was huge! We will definitely come back.

We went early (6:00) to avoid the rush for Saturday night. It was already pretty busy. I love their salads! I could make a meal of the salad and one of the appetizers. We tried the “hot lava shrimp”. It was very good. We enjoyed our meal of flounder and shrimp. The service was also very good. We will definitely be going back!

The food quality is high and the service was outstanding. The Shrimp and Collard Greens were excellent but the Steak I ordered medium was closer to well done. I didn’t give them an honest try to correct it by asking for the replacement to be cooked Medium Rare. It wasn’t cooked enough for me. I’ll take the blame for that. I will come back someday and I believe I will have a great experience.
