Had an wonderful burger with the chips and pickle. It was the Corn poblano smash burger. The burger had such a nice flavor that was complimented by the toppings. I thought the bun was such a nice part of the sandwich. Another person had a plain double bacon cheeseburger with the waffle fries and another had the Reuben. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the flavor of their sandwich. Service was okay and the atmosphere was simple but nice with some history thrown in. Hope to make it back some time soon.

The burgers are STUPID delicious! Hand packed smash burgers with crispy edges Nice kettle chip served with it, they were salt and peppered just right. Seating area is small but the patio is also inviting on a day with a breeze. Shay was adorable and a PHENOMENAL server!

Food was great, we had seared tuna and burger/fries. Good mixed drinks. Quick friendly service. I like that you can dress casually and still enjoy the downtown vibe on. Saturday night. Very reasonable prices too. We’ll stop again.

We came here with another couple. Hubby and I split a Chicken Tender player. We really liked the coating on the chicken, and the waffle fries were outstanding! I had iced tea and he had a soft drink. Portions were good and the quality of the food items was superb. Yeah, we will come back!

I drove from Lima on a recommendation so let me start by saying I benchmark all restaurants in this price point and style to Beer Barrel who seems to do everything pretty well. First, nice ambiance. I like to support small local places. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. My wife’s wrap was good, no complaints. On the other hand my chicken tenders were most likely premade frozen with a side and Texas toast for 15$. As I eluded before, BB serves fresh and lightly breaded and not frozen tenders, hot and juicy with fries and a good size house salad for 12$. I did see some others with burgers that look good but at this level and price I expect fresh made tenders, they aren’t that difficult if you are using fresh not frozen meat. Not sure if I will be back. Also, would be nice to eat on their patio, it looks nice.

Had dinner with my wife. Started off with a Sandbar Sour and wife had a Lighthouse Lime. Both drinks were perfectly balanced with the perfect amount of alcohol and mixers. Neither of us like a super sweet cocktail and both drinks had phenomenal balance of citrus to counter any sweetness. We both had their jalapeno popper burger which was very good. The sandwich includes 2 pieces of cheddar and cream cheese. My only suggestion would be cut back on the amount of cream cheese because mine had really thick pieces of it which got a little overbearing. We also order a side of sweet potato tots. Not really anything like a tator tot though. They came with a maple dipping sauce which, when paired with the sweet potatoes was overwhelmingly sweet. I would prefer a different sauce that brings more citrus flavor rather than a sweet sauce. Overall, the place was pretty packed already at 5 pm on a Saturday night but we got in immediately. If you prefer more privacy like us, consider sitting in the very back of the restaurant near the back patio. Our young waitress did a phenomenal job taking care of us. We will definitely return for more great food and drinks!

The food was OK, had they mushroom and swis burger with fries. The food was warm, and the burger was thin. The burger took maybe 5 mins to make on a busy Saturday night. Felt like it was sitting in the back waiting to be served. This was during the 127 Yard Sale weekend. We will skip this place next year.

Welcome to the Anchor. Don’t let the name fool you. Its not a seafood joint. (UNLESS the Wicked Lobstah is being hosted, them boys know their lobstah rolls!) But their name I believe is a play on the local lake.
