Wow! Just wow! The food is phenomenal. The service leaves you happy and feeling like family. Sorry I didn’t take photos before we started eating. My wife and I had dinner at Red Plum Sunday night. It was one of the best sushi dinners we had anywhere! We are long time sushi lovers and the quality and presentation at Red plum sushi and Asian bistro is second to none! We shared the love boat, which was a combination of Nigiri and Sashimi for two, and an extra Dragon Roll (the lo e boat came with one). We then tried the Uni (sea urchin) based on the chef’s recommendation. I had never tasted this rare treat and it was worth it. A bit fruity in its taste, unlike any other fish I tasted before. I recommend this wonderful japanese gem to anyone! Who knew the best sushi in Sarasota is away from the downtown area. On Tamiami, just south of Clark. — eating dinner at Red plum sushi and Asian bistro.

A little bit hidden away but definitely worth to check out if you are in the area. Clean place with prompt service. The food is fresh and tastes great, I had the chicken teriyaki with green tea and a chicken tempura roll which was very interesting.

Cute little spot, relatively new, off 41 in this little shopping plaza. Creative dishes. Nice and clean. I had the amazing tuna roll. It was fantastic. Food was displayed nicely. Staff was kind and attentive.

Tried out the Red Plum last night, decided to do delivery, was pleased with the speed and quality of which my order was prepared and delivered. Even for delivery presentation was done well. The food was delicious, everything was done correctly. Soups and salads were spot on. Sushi and bento box were great. Enjoyed every bite. Prices were pretty average for the going rates of other sushi places in the area. Had a good experience and would recommend others to try this place out as well.

I am usually not one for reviews but I just had to share. This pic is just as amazing as the sushi itself, right down to the pickled ginger and presentation. Red Plum is an absolute gem and, in my opinion, one of, if not the best sushi bar in and around Sarasota. If you have not tried it, I highly recommend you do. TJ and his staff will take great care of you. Wish I would have ordered more!

I have eaten at Red Plum multiple times now and loved every one. We have eaten in and gotten take out before and delicious! The place is clean and well taken care of, waitress was very polite and prompt every time, and I can’t say any more how good and authentic the food is.
