This was our first visit. We chose Hibachio based on Google reviews as we were passing through town. We immediately received a warm greeting and helpful advice from Seth as we approached the counter. The place is clean and the staff are courteous and efficient. Our orders arrived more quickly than we expected for a busy Friday night. And the food was very fresh and delicious. I would suggest more vegetables in the fried rice, but it wasn’t greasy. My sister-in-law was a little disappointed in her spring roll filling. But all three of us loved the sushi! I will definitely stop again.

My friend introduced me to this spot years ago when I would visit her and finally took my hubby! It’s now his new fav. Super good food! Excellent customer service and just a good experience!! Nothing fancy but it’s just all around perfect! I love their fried rice with scallops & shrimp. Hubby loves the combo rice with steak & chicken — also get the egg rolls!!! Oh and the teas – they are good too!

It was just okay. We got the steak and chicken rice bowls. They were nothing that great. I would not call this hibachi. The fried rice was barely fried, still have big chunks that were still white. The chicken and steak were flavorless and only a single broccoli. The sushi was pretty good. If I ended up here again I would only get the sushi. Also the lady at the front clearly wanted to be anywhere but here, she wasn’t helpful or friendly. Wouldn’t recommend. There are a lot better places just north in cedar hill.

The food here is really good,staff is efficient and friendly,and it was clean in dinning area. Would definitely recommend to anyone,it was an immediate hit with my family. Heads up, the servings are HUGE so be ready to take leftovers home or I’d advise to go with a smaller size plate than you would normally choose. The one downside to the dinning in experience were the sounds from kitchen area( specifically chopping),heard easily in dining area ,overall it was great and we will visit again

Had food here many times. It’s always hot and fresh. Today was disappointing. By the time we paid and filled our drink cup, the food was already done. Argue with the wife it’s not ours, way too fast, but it was. Well, okay. Fried Rice was steaming hot off their flat top. Steak, chicken, and vegetables were precooked and reheated. Those items were barely even warm. Precooked food should be held at a temp of 135 or above. Besides the rice, those items were not even close

Their food is great. I love getting the bowls bc it’s a great portion. They have a good vegetarian selection. The egg rolls are delicious according to the rest of my family, they are not vegetarian. I’ve only ordered the sushi twice and the one pictured is a spicy salmon roll. The sushi isn’t the best. It’s poorly made and the seaweed was chewy don’t recommend. It literally fell apart as soon as I would pick it up. Other than the sushi, it’s a great place to get delicious food! Service it awesome too, and they have all the sauces at each table!!!

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I were trying to find a great place to eat on a Monday, when many of the restaurants are closed. SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS PLACE!!! The food is delicious. Steady stream of customers. We’ll be back.
