The food here is very good, and the service is always so friendly. The vibe is laid-back and super casual. Prices are hard to beat. This isn’t “fine dining” like you find elsewhere on the island, and it’s priced accordingly. The pizza is fantastic–our go-to for pizza night! My only suggestion would be to take it a little easier on the cream-based sauces–would love to see a simple spaghetti with marinara and Italian sausage (or meatballs, whatever). Love it, though!

We haven’t been here in many years. Not sure why. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The wait staff was efficient and concerned and helpful. The atmosphere is okay. The value is terrific. Good food at a very good price. That’s a hard to beat combination.

Wow, what a great Italian restaurant. Just discovered this gem near Main Street. Started with egg drop spinach soup, arugula saiad with oranges and a veal chop with linguine as a side. Nice pour on the wine and a friendly staff were added bonuses.

Went here for a birthday dinner to try somewhere new. Was not impressed with the quality of food, although it did look good. Was even less impressed with the service. I got the chicken parm, super watery pasta, marinara, and chicken. Tasted like the chicken was sitting in something for awhile- not crispy at all. Waited WAY to long to place a drink order, no one checked on us after the food, and waited about 15 minutes for the check until we went up and got it ourselves.

Not sure how the food is. We waited 25 minutes to be acknowledged. We were asked how many. We said 4. Waited another 25 minutes and had some lady who said she had a reservation push us out of her way to get to the front of the line. We decided it wasn’t worth it.

Feels Italian and is a good spot to have lunch. Interior is a bit tired and not coordinated. A few bottled beers and a few wines are available. Liquor is hilariously available in the tiny one serving size. Not too sexy. The food was on par with the price which is great. Recommend.

This unassuming, Italian restaurant, in Hilton Head is really outstanding. It’s not upscale, and you won’t find fine wines and dining but all the dishes are really good. A veal chop for $22? Yep, at IL Carpaccio you can find it. Excellent pasta and chicken dishes, too. Why only four stars? Well, the fifth star is reserved for those really exceptional restaurants that combine food and ambience. But trust me, you can’t go wrong at IL Carpaccio.
